Vedic Age is historical .

Mahabharat is yet to be proven as history .
People are still trying to prove disprove the existence of Jesus as a real human .

There was no proof of indus valley civilization before it was accidentally discovered .

They recently they dug out horse bone fragments in many sites showing that horses were domesticated.

I just checked. Sanuli falls in the doab between Yamuna River and Ganga Rivers ~ that places it squarely in the Ganga Valley. Assume the dates are true and not 'fixed' which would not surprise me considering the rampant Gangacentrism [the delberate moving of the foci of Indus over into the Indian heartland] given rising Hindutava power, it still miffs me how this site is 'Indus Valley' when it is not anywhere near our sacred Indus.


My thoughts are ...

With this 'discovery' the Ganga Rickshaw thief has moved east of New Delhi and will soon reach the banks of the Holy Ganga River that defines #Gangadesh

What if we find sites that are of harappan origin and tucked in the gangetic plains?? Already they found Rakhigarhi in Haryana spread across 350 hectares which has all the three phases of IVC. The oldest phase in Rakhigarhi being 5000 BC.

Now with this new find in Sanuli we may have to abandon the theory of eastward movement of IVC people.

If it can be established conclusively that the earliest phases of Harappan civilization was present here then it poses lot of questions than answers.

Is it possible the earliest civilization was established in the east and moved west??
Or is it one and same civilization stretching from Indus to Gangetic plains??
Or is it possible that could be a different civilization altogether which is in existence in parallel to IVC??

Only more sites and research will give us answers.

more so the chariot matches the descriptions in Mahabharata... but seems like to be quite a smaller one seems like someone in middle to lower managerment ladder... the largest chariots used by maharathis generally used 6 to 9 horses...

going by site it discovered seems like borders of hastinapur and mathura taking mahabharata map in mind.. modern UP state in ROI
