We used to think military inc. was a good thing, it generated income which was ploughed back to supplement defence budget and allow funding for big ticket items and funded the n program.
How wrong we were, instead the reason why we couldn’t even afford to pay for 8 f16’s or zulus was because corrupt generals siphoned off chunks of the budget to build up military inc. for their lavish lifestyles and retirement.
That’s why we are still relying on 50 year old fighters and artillery and tanks.
