20 Longest Bridges In The World (15 in China, Including Longest Which Runs 164.85 km)

What??? What part exactly makes it "first" for road over rail? Just because you exceeded the current height doesn't make it a "first". You're splitting hairs.

That's like saying Dubai built the "first" skyscraper with the Burj. That doesn't make sense. Oh wait a minute it has a gold plated doorknob in a closet that is slightly off-center on the 160th floor...that makes it the world's first skyscraper...silly me for thinking otherwise.

Dont troll again and again The subject of discussion is BRIDGE; not doornobs nor skyscrapers; troll
You are one of many lost individuals who negates their own ethnic ID and troll China the hardest; and you dont think properly. Read my comment above and compare the parameters of the engineering feat with the antique bridge that you posted
Dont use an antique bridge to negate China's achievement in this regard, troll!

Construction of the world's longest and deepest submarine tunnel, part of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB), has been completed, authorities announced on Friday morning during a ceremony.

With work on the final section now over, all parts of the sea-crossing megastructure will be connected.

The underwater tunnel extends for 6.7 kilometers and lie 40 meters below the seabed.

The ambitious project, jointly carried out by the three cities, consists of several parts including a 22.9-kilometer bridge, the submerged tunnel and two artificial islands which will accommodate the transition to the bridge.

The project is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2017, and will cut down driving time from Macao and Zhuhai to Hong Kong from three hours to just 30 minutes.

Last Saturday, Chinese President Xi Jinping visited the construction site on his three-day trip to Hong Kong SAR.
