2 Muslim Women In Hyderabad, Divorced Over WhatsApp, Are Fighting Back

Another well EDUCATED Indian muslim.

How I wish for the good old days of uneducated decent men.
See, I have a problem with your attitude!

This post is mocking where there is no need to be. I can site plenty of examples if Hindus, Sikhs and Christian men who also arbitrarily throw out women from their homes. In fact most of the widows in Mathura have been dumped there by their families who don't want to take care of them

This is a problem for the country. Yes, Muslim law makes it extra difficult for Muslim women. In fact a majority of beggars in India are Muslim women, who have no place to go. they mostly beg outside religious places so less visible in the road.

This is a real problem and needs reform but Simply mocking someone else's religion is unacceptable.

My post Mocks those who claim Education is the solution to muslim backwardness and discrimination. I always remind them how educated Jinnah was.

I would mock anyone who claims this irrespective of religion.

You have a problem because you assume a bias. The jaundice is in your vision, not my speech.

My post is provocative, but try to read it without bias.

Yes. Unless you have someone better in mind?

That would be ANYONE who does not support Triple Talaq.

But that's not for you to decide. We are talking about a leader for Indian Muslims here. And you are not one.

Were we to be discussing an Indian PM candidate, your opinion would surely count.

Right now? It's been registered. As disapproval. And consigned to the relevant bin.

I think you would be better served by someone with a more conciliatory attitude.

While I am a great believer in fighting for your rights, I think what Muslims in general undervalue the benefits of a conciliatory attitude and giving up some negotiating points even when you don't need to. It generates goodwill and ultimately will gain more for you than constant battle.

Sir, give me a name.

Sir, give me a name.

I don't know the ins and outs of Muslim political leaders, so the name would be up to you. I am sure there are many reasonable people. It would be a question of building them up in the Urdu press.

I feel that you would get much better results by giving up this constant grievance peddling and angry "won't budge an inch " attitude. Give in, even when you don't need to and people will return the favor a thousand times.

To chose for a leader a man who said that he could kill all Hindus if the police would just stand aside for 15 minutes is provocative to say the least.

BTW, I am a huge fan of Javed Akhtar , he genuinely talks sense, but the general Muslim population would prefer to follow a man spitting fire and brimstone than an intellectual or secular person. That attitude is up to people like you to argue against.

Sir that was his brother.

And Javed saab is a nobody to most Muslims. From his ivory perch.

.
Why are you so worried about Muslim women? Do you see us commenting on Hindu matters? Worry about your own problems, don't concern yourself with ours

What's this thing about Hindu/Muslim women? Why are their issues to be looked at differently? Until their are uniform personal laws our Constitutional rights are a joke.

In Indian politics there is no difference between family members and you know it. Rabri Devi and Ladoo. Sonia and Rahul . Jayalalitha and shashikala. All "same same "

That is the problem with Muslims in India that intellectuals and logic have no standing and the warriors like owasi do.

In fact it is a problem for ALL Indians, but seems even more so for Muslims who seem to enjoy battling on for ever and about everything and with everybody. Somewhere along the line, you got to make peace dude. And the only way to do that is through a change in attitude.no other group has so many problems with so many other groups!

owasi leadership is unnecessarily provocative . But Muslims seem to enjoy being provocative. When you get retaliation, you seamlessly move into victim mode. why not stop being provocative in the first place? You can fight for rights without puffing up your chests or threatening murder.

You got perfectly what I was explaining to someone else earlier today.

You understand Muslims.

The Owaisi brothers are Muslims. And understand them better. :)

.
LOL...that is where you are Wrong. UCC is part of the Agenda and I do get a voice and a vote on it.

You are free to choose a muslim leader for muslim men,
or a Indian leader for muslim women
or an Indian leader for muslim men & women
or a muslim leader for muslim men & women.
or a muslim leader for muslim women

Its funny that you should assert that I do not get a vote to choose a muslim leader. I don't want a vote any more than I want a vote to get Dengu.

What a pompous clown

He would be served better by someone who understand Both Hindu and Muslim affairs.

But what you don't understand is that muslim historically do not want a leader who understood Hindu affairs. Its not a stretch to understand why. Is it ?

We were not talking about UCC but about you taking it upon yourself to advise a Muslim who he should support and on which grounds. My response to you was to the obvious absurdity of that.

Talk about pompousness. And delusional at that.

Cheers.

Lol...if I understand Muslims, then India is in for a rough ride. This attitude has to change the only question is wether voluntary or involuntary. If involuntary it won't be fun for anyone.

Actually, personally I think that the seeds of Islamic reform has already been sown..in the west....it will grow.

Reform in Hinduism also started with contact with the outside world...and European ideas.....so all just a matter of time!

So long! I am off to do some work.
