2 Ismaili Jamaat Khanas in Karachi attacked during prayer time

I threatened Farhat Hashmi's husband one on one.... he was about to start a mosque project near my lands (Sorry won't mention place)......the funding was coming from you know where..... I told her to back off or else..... well, she did.... good for her.... else I'd have done some serious damage.......

My advice about Farhat Hashmi's establishment(Al-Huda) is to run as far as you can in the opposite direction. And yes, many of her followers are from the privileged class. Thats how she is funded.
@Oscar, btw, loads of Brigadiers, AVM's etc etc's wives go to that center..... I don't seriously know what is going on here.... she is a god damn very very corrupt woman with a potty mouth..... not as bad as mine..... but close enough.....

Yeah, noticed a dozen of those...... actually it was the very first time when I joined this forum that I found out that there were people who called the god damn terrorists as martyrs........ then the second shocker was when I met someone in Islamabad (highly educated) and member of some religious academy (al-huda) to be precise, saying the exact same ****. These were pretty recent revelations for me.... maybe I've been shielded for the better part of last decade from such events......... on the other hand I always knew about the Qatari/UAE and Saudi connections, those were from official sources that I've always been connected to, one way or another.... but the local angle was pretty shocking......... this time around just a month 2 weeks back, when I was in Islamabad, i made it a point to go check out all these whackjobs.... and guess what...... there are SO MANY OF THEM....

Islamabad is full of whackjobs...every other place you have a Madrassa with 10 foot walls with concertina wires and bearded fellows with sticks and shalwars up to the knee defending the gates.

When CDA comes, they start the Islamic angle, infidels are destroying a holy place. Are bhai, it isn't a holy place to begin with since it was constructed illegally.

As for the Al-Huda thing, we have a Al-Huda hostel/center right in front of our house in Isl. Whenever the lights goes off, the girls come out on the terrace in skimpy shirts and pajamas and chatter aloud, laughing and gigglings, pura muhalla ghar kay samnay baitha hua hota hai! So much for religion.

we certainly do have ******-esque sympathizers on this forum....like that whack-job of a guy (name with-held) who calls the people who smuggled weapons into Lal Masjid and hid behind hostaged kids as "martyrs"

I also think that 110 plus (unofficial estimate around 600) unarmed female students of jamia hafsa killed by musharaf were martyrs. It was lal masjid tragedy which triggered bomb blasts, talibanization, terrorism across the country.

I dont want to say anything, but the simple word is sazish.. and lots of them and its based on personal experience and that of others..along with a bit of informed *** connecting. But then, because nothing exists on the perfectly correct and informed internet... I dont want to say anything. Pretend I did not.

Sarkar, I know all of that...... know about all the land scams their "establishment" carried out during the 90's .... the generals involved..... everything there is to know......... I'm also from there, always have been... :P

Hopefully, I'll meet one of you next time I'm around.... :D

Right now, better hit the bed.... my head is KILLING me....... 1 hour of rest is justified .......

Not sure about the figure but yes those girls died for no reason. The fault however is not solely Musharraf's(even though he gave the final order) but rather of the cleric as well for taking the law into his own hand. There were better ways to do what he wanted to(correct or not).

Oh please... this dawn aint coming any time soon.

You never know ... As they say, the good thing about rock bottom is that its the place you bounce back from.. All it takes is one right man in the right place..

not sure about Pakistan, but majority of people just call them Mosques now a days at least in Canada unless you are old though folks in Pakistan can correct me on this. @Armstrong, is this incident due to religious intolerance or is the ismaili community also responsible in this sectarian debacle. Keep in mind I am not sectarian nor do I associate myself with a specific sect even if some of my family may adhere with the label

Too many wrong men at too many wrong places to allow the right man to come in.

While that true however the matter at hand is how has the Ismaili/muslim community contribute to say these intolerant attacks and I am nonsectarian so do not accuse me of being bias monsieur.
