You make it sound like it was 1 game was washed out in league stage. Those washed out games had a huge impact on this WC and detracted significantly from the excitement and overall quality.

The ICC is not just for the home team of any WC that's why it's called international.

Agree with you generally but you cant compare a match in a league stage with a match in a disqualification stage. Latter is far more important. Also, the hosts getting knocked out because of rain would affect revenues. It's not about national or international.

Very boring semi look like test match. Its good for India that match will resume tomorrow which will just kill the advantage of winning toss by NZ and target will be less than 250 so should chase it comfortably unless they play some horrible cricket

This makes no sense, this is cricket not football or other sport, the conditions can change dramatically especially in England. What if the new ball starts seaming or the pitch gets drier? Yeah but having a fresh match also makes no sense. That would be worse. What if it gets washed out again ? And the fielding team, in this case India would be so tired tomorrow and cant bowl another 50 overs again with the same stamina. Continuing is far better, though no solution could be perfect in such a situation.
