Finally Pakistanis agree Paksitani started the 65 war and all your stupid leaders claims of India starting is just farce? How dubious Pakistani military and politicians claims are of celebrating Pakistan Day and claiming India started it. They have no face to show the world now!!

And Signed Instrument Of Surrender in 24 hours
I see Modi mentality in full flow, perhaps i should drag in 1947 as how we carved India into three pieces but once you are done with talking from where sun don't shine, let me spoon feed your blabbering gear,,,,,the subject at hand is 1965 not your great escape aka 1971.....and let me also remind you, despite being grounded due to runway damage, in two weeks of non stop strikes on Tezgaoun airfield, the IAF didn't manage to destroy even one of the grounded Sabres but in process lost 17 aircraft to ground fire. This is how pathetic the IAF was even without any opposition.....we all know how it got a bloody nose in the West.

We took a large chunk of territory you had illegally annexed in kashmir and in 65 despite you being a much larger nation, you failed in all your objectives ie capturing Lahore, Sialkot and in the end we were occupying chunks of your territory, shame on you for letting a much smaller nation achieve such a feat and your airforce was outclassed and thrashed according to every neutral observe, so stop trying to portray your nations forces as some kind of first world fighting force, they always relied on numbers even then with the exception of Bangladesh they could do jack, their woeful fighting prowess was exposed by our Chinese friends who were able to match their numbers and completely obliterated those loosers lol.Kudos

Actually, Operation Gibraltar led to 65 war when army paratroopers, guerrillas disguised as locals, entered IOK with the goal of fomenting an insurgency and liberating it from indian occupation, Plan failed and they replied by opening another front. in the end both sides suffered heavy casualties.

When wars are fought, men get killed and equipment gets destroyed but Indians would often abandoned their equipment and retreat.

The Hero of the Battle of Dograi
On the night of September 21, 1965 before his small battalion marched 8 kilometres from their trenches to Dograi, where the Pakistan army had entrenched itself, Lieutenant Colonel Hayde made only two demands of his men.

It was an epic battle where 86 Indian soldiers died fighting a better fortified Pakistan army before the Indian flag could be raised in Dograi, on the outskirts of Lahore.

Led by Lieutenant Colonel Desmond E Hayde, whose Haryanavi was better than his clipped Hindi, the 3 Jat battalion of 550 men defeated an enemy which had double the number of soldiers.
