nehru was responsible for kashmir and tibet mess..
i appreciate his domestic policies,also his non alignment policy,but his policy on kashmir and china was pathetic..

He got you the part of kashmir you have......he didnt really mess up on that part......his promises to the kashmiris had to be made to push forward indians policy of incorporating kashmir into the indian union at some point in the future.
For of nehrus and the indians words on peace and elections for the territories it wanted ,he fully understood that by holding elections he would not gain them and sent in the army and took them by force with the cover of "freedom" "rights" and other useful words.
