lmfao ok you got me i didn't read the article but i assumed just by going through it that you trying to compare the pathans british to the these terrorists who are not even all pathans and actually kill pathans.

I didn't, I know a lot of people have broken free of that tribal mentality and done great things with their lives. Those are stories I will also tell when the time is right. They are true warriors of mind and spirit and its just unfortunate that I see the majority of their communities being slaves and hostages to irrational practices and outdated laws.

Before posting anything you should have a full grip on the internal dynamics on that topic, specially under such sensitive times that we live in today. Do you have in inkling of rivalries between the tribes within N. Waziristan, now and then? Do you know which tribes were attacking different adjoining settled areas and why? If you know why, then we can come to the question if it was right or wrong.

Forget it, I'm sure you haven't even visited any place within Pakistan bar Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Larkana.....

If you look at the news piece itself. It doesn't mention which tribes.. and why. It only is an example of how the dynamics of the region have changed little over time. With the bumbling rulers trying to restore piece via mechanisms that do not always work in the area.Yet, the point to the Faqir of ipi shows that this is specifically to show him in a bad light. The Faqir was fighting against foreign rule over the land. And you probably are much more aware of his history. The news piece is just giving out the view of the government in that matter.. ..and heck its old.

Exactly, the most important part has been omitted. Furthermore, dynamics of N. Waziristan will never change unless one of the major tribes there, "The Mehsuds," are completely neutralized.

P.S. "Mehsuds" aren't even Pashtuns by blood, they may sincerely wish that they are, however, they are not!

@Pakone I just do not understand what kind of islamic warriors you seem to portray yourselves as. I mean what kind of fighting style is that to be proud of? But you see that is what happens when you have not exercised your brain properly for over 300 years. You run out of ways to kill your enemy effectively. So is born the disposable human "warrior".

What sort of bravery lies in this " suicidal behavior " ? . I have always failed to understand this logic , being a student of medical sciences . I mean , it is easy to die , really much easy than some would like to believe . You ingest pills , inject a vial , pull a trigger and in this case blow up your jacket . Death is certain and comes fast and remains an easy escape for everyone looking for a heaven in the afterlife because they just couldn't find or work for one , here in this world . They couldn't transform their lives , didn't learn to walk hand in hand with the civilization and to put it simply - never bothered to change and hence had to resort to that . Had they tried to change themselves , it is their enemies who would be dying in millions and not them . I see no bravery in killing myself to kill my enemies .
