This documentary is making fake claims that British conquered India from Muslim Mughals. Mughal had no power since their defeat in 1758 instead British defeated Muslim ruled Awadh, Mysore, Bengal and Sindh while allied with Muslim Nizams of Hyderabad, rest of India was annexed from Hindu-Sikh kingdoms.

Yeah but you know the British like to claim they ended the grand Mughals. The Ottomans and Mughals had huge prestige so claiming to have ended one or both is something huge. They even added moghul to their vocabulary LOL. It literally means someone important and powerful.

Depends upon the names of emperors, not everyone. Had Dara Shikoh became Mughal Emperor instead of bigot Aurangzeb, Mughal history would have been more glorious.

Britishers interfered with the religious practices of Hindus, tried to ban some of the cultural practices.they tried to reform - is a view some holds.
stories of pork fat used for greasing rifles etc. are there. so, Muslim love for British can be understandable.

The interesting point to note here is that the Jihad against WCC (Western Christian Civilization) was begun by Sayed Ahmed Shaheed (1786–1831). Of Rae Bareli, his power base was the Bengal Presidency. The Sepoys of 1857 were greatly inspired by his teachings. The Sepoys - both Muslim and Hindu,had considered the 1857 Uprising as Jihad. Their war cry, "Khalqe Khoda, Takhte Padshah, Hukumate Sepahee" was yelled by both Hindu and Muslim Sepoys and population.

Yes they were. Today 99% of Christians in India and Pakistan were converted from mostly low caste Hindus and some poor Muslim families.
