Agree with you (you didn't really make that clear) I hear J&K police are getting quite a few non-lethal weapons. But yeah that ADS would be great. All police forces in India should get this kit so incidents like a cop unloading his revolver into a protest don't happen again. Maybe put the system on the back of a Bolero.

Too right. Kashmir unrest had been going on since early 1990s meeting a significant response from Indian state. Now majority of unrest within the valley is over with last two years being peaceful and prosperous. If the world didn't care before (before WOT even existed) when "crack-down" was at its height what makes you think the world would care now or in the future when WOT is "over" (not going to happen for decades btw) When majority of unrest has long since past? Add to that the world needs India more and more with every coming day, if west did nothing 10-20 years ago when Indian economy was in the pits why would they jeopardise their own interests with Indian economy soaring?? NO LOGIC.


Add to that the new Conservative-Liberal GOVT here in UK is more pro-India than ever and has resolved to dramatically increase trade and links after previous Labour GOVT seemingly put Indian ties on "back burner". With Indian companies employing nearly 5% of ENTIRE UK work force with figure set to increase many fold in coming years and UK companies literarily hanging by thread waiting for Indian life line of orders NO current of future British GOVT is foolish enough to get on the wrong side of India, especially when they KNOW FOR A FACT today the majority of issues in J&K arise from their common enemy- PAKISTAN.

That's all. First they expected USA to meddle in their favor. Clinton refused. Then European liberals' pressure which again slid off like egg-on-face and thirdly expected China to favor them. That too went into the drain when they preferred showing an interest on trade with us rather than stick to a liability too long.
