Unfortunately we don't have any other real options except Japanese Cars. Chinese, Local and South Korean companies are just entering but they are negligible. Toyota, Honda, Suzuki, Nissan, Isuzu, Hino, Mazda are the only dominant players for now.
I have no problem with Vietnamese cars, i was only pointing out the price tag. You have to remain competitive in market to remain relevant. In Pakistan the recent entry of local automobile manufacturers like Regal Motors and United Motors have started producing the cheapest cars even cheaper then Japanese Kai cars to stand a chance against them.

Ok VN car market is small but growing. Car imports jump 76 percent this year. It looks you missed the train.

No they didnt.but they also use worker assembling electric bikes for assembling cars now due to good pre order.

Making car is easy. Just need a big market to lower the price. ID-Malay cars cant get a big enough market, so they'r failed and cant compare wt JP car.

What’s the average car price in Pakistan?
Not sure how much will be put on sale in overseas markets, can be lower or higher than $17,000.
How’s about electric cars?

You will get for $13,000. but there is a question of EV infrastructure.
