Why no one gives native americans credit for discovering america??? They technically own the place, since they were there first

That is the best point of all so far on this thread. But I have a question: If in fact Chinese sailors landed first in continental USA/N.America, then did Cristoforo Colombo of Genoa meet up with any chinese people there?

In any case Zheng He's voyages should be thoroughly researched and studied. His exploits certainly deserve that attention.
Though people will give any (or all) kinds of "spins" to his achievements to fulfill their own limited agendas.
