11-year-old Pak boy strays into India, Army sends him home with clothes, sweets

This is how professionals work. Last year our soldier who was swept away in the river (and who could not swim ) was returned with all dignity by Pakistan. So, cheers.

2 kids from IOK reunited with their family - they had crossed the LOC and entered Pak territory:

Pakistani and Indian military despite their differences, maintain an atmosphere of discipline between them at all times. During the 2002 border escalation, Pakistan and India agreed to a truce at Chakothi despite months of non-stop shelling to retrieve an unidentified body that had washed up on Pakistan's side of the border. We sent a party into the open, into the sights of the enemy and they did not fire, the body was that of a Kashmiri Woman and was buried on our side.
On another occasion, we retrieved the body of an Indian Jawan from the river, since we had destroyed the bridge between our positions, we communicated our intention to return the body at another point in the Neelum Valley rather than the Jhelum where tensions had been at their highest, the body was returned with complete military protocol.

That's great .. I mean Atleast we don't released videos of body handing over/exchange ceremonies on YouTube with pathetic labels !

That's very distasteful, there should be some dignity in death, even for the enemy. A soldier should always be humble and respectful when it comes to death because she is a constant companion for us, more so than our own families.

Potential Future RAW agent. Are you sure we didnt make the switch ;)

On a serious note, Well done bsf. Nothing better than the kid being returned to his family safe & sound. :) After all his family must have been pretty worried. All is Well.

Agreed sir. Humanity shall always prevail even at the roughest of times. Although there is a natural hatred lies between our countries, even though we never loose a oportunity to bloody each other, still at the time of need, we do treat each other with compasion. Kudos to PA & Rangers for their effort. :)

The Pakistani and the Indian soldiers on LOC sometimes exchange even petty gifts of chewing materials and cigarettes. However, when orders are passed by their respective commands to start firing then real exchanges of heavy firing take place. .
