I dont think the work is under progress....... There was a huge controversy on this mosque.....They were planning to keep the hair of prophet in this mosque....the fund was raised for the construction by highlighting this.......later it turned out to be a fake one....... There are 2 factions of Sunni, Ap and EK..... AP was behind this mosque and EK was working against this project....

Masjid e Nabawi in Madina is one of the finest marvels in the world.
You can't find a single place where the construction and arrangements 'could have been better'.

AP Vs EK ..... It is there in all section of society......... But their fights are epic..... They will hire a place in a town and conduct a meeting, and criticise the other section..... Next day the other section will hire the same place and conduct a meeting by replying every criticism and then make their own critism......The cycle continues for a week then stops.....
