10 injured in Blast in Balochistan's Nasirabad District

Any country, where people thrive on fake news and destroy hospitals & shoot down police officers guarding polio vaccination teams on mere rumors, is a fertile ground for religious intolerance and extremism. It is possible that the recent international limelight on the carnage in Sri Lanka may also encourage more copycat actions elsewhere; especially so in Pakistan.

Unfortunately, PTI’s core vote bank is in the KPK where a large percentage of the population carries a soft spot for the Taliban. PTI by continually contributing large sums to the Haqqania seminary, the nursery of the Taliban, is helping in promoting extremist ideology rather than suppressing it.

Recent rumors about Ch Nisar being proposed for CM’s post in Punjab would make it worse. In my opinion, he along with Rana Sana Ullah was the main supporters of religious extremists during the PML-N regime. Had it not been for the courageous action of Gen Raheel Sharif after APS massacre; Taliban & LeJ would have carried on their killing spree unhindered. I sincerely hope that better sense prevails & Ch Nisar remains out of any political office for a very long time.
And the money given to haqqania was and is used to turn a seminary into a modern University you should visit haqqania now You will see the difference in their curriculum and facilities it's called use of soft power and it works better than hard power within a dacade it will turn into a modern school, college, and University. So

balochistan needs more soft power i am not saying not to use hard power when needed.

Honorable Fawadqasim1,

This is correct that I have not had the pleasure of visiting KPK since 2008. I have no reason to dispute your assertion as things may have changed after the APS incident. Majority of persons I spoke to then including some connected with the Attock Oil Pindi, advised me to be very careful about where I go as Peshawar's tribal population has strong pro-Taliban feelings and are angry with the Pak Army for their action in N. Waziristan and most associate Pak Army with the Punjabis.

That was my opinion and you are welcome to disagree. However, you cannot deny that there has to be some support for the Taliban in KPK to enable to carry out these attacks.

As Far as Haqqani & Maulana Sami ul Haq is concerned, I would strongly disagree with you. For example:

"Fatwas of apostatisation were issued from time to time from all the prominent Deobandi madrasas of Pakistan. Darul Ulum Haqqaniya Akora Khattak of Maulana Samiul Haq Deobandi (the seminary where the assassins of ex-prime minister Benazir Bhutto have confessed to staying before the attack on her in 2007) issued its own fatwa of apostatisation of the Shia in 1986 saying that eating food cooked by them, attending their funeral and burying them in Sunni graveyards stood banned. Another fatwa from Jamia Ashrafia Lahore, whose leader Maulana Muhammad Malik Kandhalwi Deobandi, known to be a relative of general Zia, declared the Shias kafir because “they held that the Quran had been tampered with and gave Hazrat Ali a status equal to Prophet Muhammad, claiming that angel Jibreel had made a mistake while taking wahi to the Prophet”.

The above fatwas were circulated in Quetta, Balochistan in 2003, before the massacre of the Shias there on two occasions. [The massacre of Shia Muslims in Quetta is often given Hazara specific ethnic color hiding the fact that at least 30 per cent of the Shias killed in Balochistan belong to non-Hazara ethnic backgrounds.] Since no madrasa is required by the state to register all the fatwas it gives out to the people, the information given by the Shia Hazara leaders on TV fell on deaf ears."

I am against anyone especially a Mullah who brazenly practices Takfiri philosophy and preaches violence against a section of Pakistani society.

PTI leadership must also have some soft corner for the Takfiris ideas else they would not be continuously providing funds to the nursery of the Taliban. You are free to hold on to your opinion, I shall stick to mine. Let us agree to disagree.

I don't understand why there is no Large scale Operation happening in Baluchistan ? is it because as a legend once said " Yeh Bik gaye hai Gormint ? Yeh bik gaye hai Army ? yeh sab mil ke humko pagal bana rahe hai motherboard ke bache .

He opposed Military anti Terrorism Courts, ultimately leading to their shut down. Now he's demanding "Justice". Munafqat, opportunism, ignorance from nation's security matrix and apathy for public safety by such people only enable the mongrols who come to murder.
