I'm offensive because it wasted my time. If it is truly classified then he should remain silence, am I supposed to believe he actually saw the real thing with this Picasso masterpiece? This painting brought nothing new to the table.
What a joke! When later J-35 is finally revealed this guy will come out and say "Look at my painting, 100% accurate prediction!"
"Look at those blobs here, I clearly meant them to be WS-19!"
"See that squidgy line right there? Thats the arresting hook!"
....
IMO this joker should STFU, wasting...
True. Just to clarify, the new spacecraft still uses conventional heatshield, the inflatable heat shield is a separate module piggybacked on this flight. The new spaceship is in a high elliptic orbit, testing high speed re-entry a few days later.
This is as new as it gets. NASA proposed it some years ago, but this is the first orbital test of such technology. Much lighter than conventional ceramics/ablative heat shields.
Nice! LM-5 worked out all the kinks is now finally a stable workhorse. IMO the most interesting thing with this flight is the re-entry test of the inflatable heat shield, world's first! This is big, stay tuned!
A crazy idea: What if Iran buy off the shelf radar/ECM/avionics/engines/missiles from China or Russia to upgrade their fleet? A F-14 equipped with AESA and latest avionics, armed with pl-15, how cool is that? Though I'm not sure how long they can keep their F-14 flying...
Dude why you keep assuming I'm Iranian.... No I don't think Iran has better electronics industry than the west, or China and Russia for that matter. Therefore I suggest them to pitch their best against 4.5 gen from friendly nation and use the result to guide their procurement.
Add to my point...
I don't disagree with you, F-14 is one of my favorite plane too (though you might've exaggerated her max AoA a bit, 70 degree can only be an accident, the pilot must've pissed himselves....). In a dogfight F-14 can still win against today's 4.5 gen, it's just that avionics massively dominated...
Actually F-14 is very maneuverable, instantaneous turn rate better than F-15. The plane's raw performance is competitive even in today's world, just the avionics is outdated. However avionics is the most important factor now, even 4.5 gen enjoy extremely one-sided advantage against 4 gen planes...
I really wish US would just go ahead and do all that, we all know decoupling is inevitable at this point, might as well get it over with.
Nobody is buying new planes now anyway, Comac might as well take the time to finish CJ-1000.
Eventually the picture is gonna be China and US still trade with...
While the information could certainly be wrong, however it is not entirely impossible. For comparison F-16 stall speed is around 130~140mph.
You can't compare it with a civilian prop plane since modern fighter jets done a lot to delay flow separation, vortex generator like LERX for example...
So 10 is from your own speculation and 5 is from your silly unverifiable "news", Got it.
Not when it's source is some "leaked classified report" on wikileak. China can also leak some "classified report" on subjects that has vested interest in, but then we are not that desperate.
Yes, oil...
True, but BD would have to invest many fold it's current defense spending to remedy the number disadvantage. I honestly don't know if it is wise for BD, I mean is the threat that big or possible?
Buy at 5 sell at 10? Where do you get those numbers? If you are quoting numbers from that silly unverifiable "news" then yeah the whole thing looks silly.
If China sent out a oil hauler then it won't return without a shipment, what we offload the Venezuela oil and load up some American oil? If...
