    @Horus India is an underdog in the region? Seriously? The governments of Bangladesh, SriLanka, Nepal, Bhutan are heavily pro-India and we share a "strategic" relation with Afghanistan. China being an outsider has to do a lot more if it wants to have some leverage in the region.
