    Bangladesh Army's Advancing Business Interests

You can blame any mishap including airplane crash and sinking of boats in river, on BSF. I dont think any Indian agency can indoctrinate BDR people to commit rape and murder, they seem to be driven by lot of hatred.

    Bangladesh Army's Advancing Business Interests

So many seems to agree with you. But this is an age of expertise and specialization. Army should focus on defence. Govt on governance and taxation. Business should be left to businessmen and entrepreneur. They can earn enough for you, which will fund your army. Army does not need to do it.

Everybody knows it is more of a threat, again to make his core supporters happy. He does not have capability to do it.

Indian troops fathered congo babies, gold trafficking, child abuses & rapes

Well, I have read the same in Indian newspaper. There is allegation, and it needs to be investigated properly. No need to deny wrongdoing. We will be judged on basis of what we do about it. The above news appears to be from Indian Express, but here is the NDTV link...

    Pakistan deserves a better future.

I think pakistan has lot of potential. You need to concentrate more on education, that will bring you long term benefit. Currently the country is in crisis mode, hope that changes soon.

Baba Ramdeb threaten to arms traning to supporters .

Everybody knew baba is village idiot. You cant make any other deduction after hearing some of his demands. I am sure most people supporting him in the last thread have changed their minds, this thread is going to be smaller. I have a nagging doubt that congress tried to prop him up against...

Was the Bangladeshi MIG 29's necessary?

I understand your point bro. I agree, you need to defend your country. I just dont think expensive jets are the best way to defend it. My own view is you should have a bigger army, which properly equipped and manned. You should also have a better navy that can police and defend your waterways.

Was the Bangladeshi MIG 29's necessary?

I agree with you 100 percent. Defense procurement should be based on ones need and risk assessment, just buying to boost ones ego is criminal when you are a poor country(that applies to India too, which is a poor country). This Mig thing is fishy for sure. Imagine how many anti aircraft guns...

why a patriotic general turned unpatriotic...

I agree with you. During those days, even for simple demands govt used to be too harsh. Central govt was too powerful, they used to sack state govt at will. About maoists, I think central govt is holding back, where as some states are prodding centre to be harsh, and some dont. I have a doubt...

why a patriotic general turned unpatriotic...

Sorry, you are right about Ramdev, he did say about arming people. I see it as a rhetoric, still trying to save his face after running away from his own tamasa. Nobody tells these things openly. About riots, yes, I do believe RSS family as involved in most of them. I still dont think they carry...

why a patriotic general turned unpatriotic...

There is a bit of politics involved. Bhindranwale the village idiot was propped up by congress. The same way they encourage Raj Thakrey for political gains. I dont think Indira Gandhi had any grudge against sikhs as such(well she hated Menaka, leave that aside), she jailed whoever opposed her...

why a patriotic general turned unpatriotic...

Small correction: RSS does not carry arms. Baba did not say the army will carry arms. Sanju baba was branded terrorist for just possessing arms(I dont agree that he is terrorist), and still going in and out of jail. And your assertion that sikh militants were carrying arms for self dense is a...

Was the Bangladeshi MIG 29's necessary?

Nobody wants you. How many times one has to shout from rooftop. What do you bring to the table. We are trying to keep you away from India, cant you see why we are trying to build a fence. Where is the fence for nepal and bhutan? And about sikkim, I will still say, overwhelmingly they want to be...

Arundhati Roy says Western journalists told 'No negative news from India'

She criticizes anything and everything. Some of her criticism is valid. Anyway, people need to give space to such critics of policy, democracy and society.

Was the Bangladeshi MIG 29's necessary?

People of sikkim overwhelmingly wanted to be in India. Thats why even though so many secession movement in India in various places, you wont see anything in sikkim. We did not gulp sikkim, they wanted to be with us. You neither want to be with us, nor you are useful to us. What extra we will...

The Muslim Brotherhood becomes a legal Party

Muslim Brotherhood is only organized opposition. Egyptians are going slow because they want alternative secular parties to evolve. Muslim brotherhood will never come to power on its own in egypt, a moderate muslim country. But they will be important part of egyptian politics from now on.

why a patriotic general turned unpatriotic...

Sorry, GoI does not like dissent in the defence forces. You are not allowed to point fingers at civilian authority, you cannot express your political views, you cannot disagree to direct order. You can always advice and express your opinion in private to govt. He is not the only guy dismissed, I...

    Bangladesh Army's Advancing Business Interests

Was not BDR mutiny blamed on lack of financial incentives, like dal bhat program and UN assignment, compared to army? Overall, involving army in any commercial venture seems to be a bad idea.
