A new dog in the fight
China's recent unveiling to potential export customers of its PL-10 imaging-infrared guided air-to-air missile was a testament to the country's growing weapons-design capabilities. As Douglas Barrie explains, just a handful of nations have so far mastered this technology...
The press service of Russia’s Central military district announced Wednesday that a super-light battalion with UAZ “Patriot” combat vehicles was deployed as a part of the newly formed motorized infantry brigade in the Samara region.
The battalion was created as result of analysis of the combat...
So what will happen to our f16s. USA will not allow us to change radar and other equipment on their plane, so the only option will be to sell these jets to some other country.
Indians are butt hurt that how can a Pakistani General do anything like that when no one ever heard of an indian General doing any thing like that. Lowlife at its best.
For comparing the two we have to consider these things.
1. Which one has more advanced technology and better potential future upgrades?
2. T129 has Longbow type radar if i remember correctly. Does Z10 has that capability?
3. Which one can carry more ammo as z10 has 7000 kg max takeoff weight...
Short range/medium range SAM's can be net centric but can the Manpads be net centric too? I think the huge stockpile of Manpads of both countries need to upgraded or they'll be just duds against a modern jet with jamming equipment on board. Manpads can down a helicopter though as seen in syria.
That's true but as you might know that americans were also impressed with the electronic jamming capabilities of mig 21's with israeli jammers. Pakistan lacks the level of jamming capabilities which israel might be providing india with, and if we do have these capabilities on our jets at that...
Syria's 9K33 Osas would however prove far less successful against Israeli Air Force raids into Syria, the number of which rapidly increased in the past years. These strikes, mainly targeted at weapon depots around Damascus, have so far met with little resistance from Syria due to heavy use of...
Does pakistan caters the gulf market too? Is that a big enough market for pakistan or just a side show?
And if our industry is better than Bangladesh then how come they are exporting 20 billions and we are only exporting 10% of that?
This is the path which ultimately both countries will have to take. Pakistan and Iran can't afford to be enemies, so better be friends. But at the moment there is lack of trust on both sides.
