I am planning to narrate events of PAF history on blog. In mostly cases I have the pictures in decent sizes.
I'd be happy to increase more points, If anyone interested in helping me drop a PM/profile comment. :)
The events (mostly narration with photos) would be relating to PAF...
Good video Horus!
The weapons package for JF-17 is improving day-by-day, which is good for export.
The question is how much change will these weapons (whether SOW/PGMs/ARM etc.) shall bring in Indian's doctrine. These weapons capability displayed at Zhuhai'14 surely pose direct threat to IAF...
Regarding PM's visit to PAC, it was required by Kamra to close loops of some old payments.
Pakistan needs political stability in next few years, we can't afford more hickups.
Aiming to achieve that capability level is good, but at the expanse of what?
More investment in buying US origin systems? These are a short term solution...lets say they keep you in the game till next 5-7 years, but what IF more improved Chinese options (read J-31) /mature JF-17 comes on table...
The way Chinese are coming up with new weapons systems and electronics, in just few 5-7 years time these systems will get more mature. These all are linking to paradigm shift in doctries of all major powers in the region and West incoming future. Mocking attitude towards such systems development...

Regarding single engine fighter for PAF, thats just a myth created by you guys on forums.
Any airpower is not directed by likes and dislikes of its people, but rather the systems that help in implementing the plans and doctrine.
Regarding your point about deep interdiction not...
Health was the primary reason.
A team of pilots & engineers visit any potential country and submit their report. If that has Ifs-and-but then that put decision makers in the back-seat. Political support/approvals comes second.
Mostly stored and routinely checked/tested. Those in good condition...
Exactly.
One more thing is that in Chaklala controller sits way far from tarmac/flight lines. He has no visual, radios are everything there. It could be both pilot's fault and/Or miscommunication b/w control tower and pilot(s).
I recall two C-130's accident at Chaklala in 1990s, the controller...
The airplanes used by Belgium/Norway were not in good condition. Their QRA role in severe weather conditions is not healthy for long-life of aircraft. Routine repairs/maintenance is needed which in our case needs US support (read consent) and $$$. So overall service of even 5 years of such air...
As front line fighters may be by end of 2015; If some savings are done after end of Operation Zarb-e-Azb and Army gives their budget heads for such purchase.
As spares NO, sufficient stock and LRUs are available.
The recent JF-17 article in Combat Aircraft Magazine brings nothing new, just answers to lots of questions that required 'official' response. Such claims of RD93 98kn thrust, improved wingloading, better radar (V2), BVR / data bus improvement were earlier made by PAF personnel both in media and...
My friend you have become cynical; either you are completely ignorant about the theme of these COIN operations or you have stopped reading and analysing. You misread my post, especially the area where I mentioned the reasons why JF-17 is not the best option for these operations. Here is what I...
Most of the strikes against TTP are mostly conducted with support of comms coming from electronics currently configured on US origin fleet. Its not the 'combat-use-tag-on-JF17' that matters more than use of whats more required (both in terms of clearing weapons stores and associated finances...
Sir that looks like Casa Cn235; check wing span and horizontal stabilizers. Few Cn235s are getting dark grey color scheme these days.
If a U-2 was there it would have looked like this...
