MIC 2025 is steadily on track. Remember, the goal was to provide 30% of chips needed for China's own consumption. China will hit that target probably by early next year. Majority of the market is still using 45nm to 28nm nodes, so pricing competitors out of those market should a a top priority...
There was a time when homelessness was less visible in major Chinese cities, but that involved forced custody and many suffered abuses at the hands of staff.
It's too bad. I think it's actually not a bad concept but the execution went horribly wrong. It could have been a mandatory shelter for...
They're spoken by locals mostly, such as in Shanghai and Wuhan. Newcomers generally communicate in Mandarin. Having a national language is not a bad thing. It paved the way to a unified Chinese nation in Qin dynasty.
Ethnic Kinh in China makes up a negligible portion of the total population...
Almost every region outside of north China has their own dialect. "Old" Chinese is a fluid process, not a set piece. Each period had their own change in pronunciation.
Some of them even sound sort of Vietnamese.

2. Failure to adjust COVID policy for over a year
3. Failure to gradually re-open; no public gather restriction, mask mandate, additional round of vaccination or stockpiling...

So why is he whining like a whipped hoe over an area he has such a strong advantage in?
I do not believe having ethnic autonomous areas is the correct path. It's a failed system borrowed directly from the USSR. Administrative units should be standardized as national -> province -> city -> district/county. Any ethnic autonomous regions should not be larger than county size.
This thing is impractical as hell. No way that tiny size could withstand the recoil of 20mm cannon mounted on its back. Where the hell is it going to store ammo?
Of course, China is there to talk trade and business. Americans and Europeans go to third world countries to talk China. Not many in the West pay attention to these poverty stricken nations until China starts signing deals.
