Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft [AMCA] Development | Updates & Discussions.

Yup and become a 10 trillion dollar economy too. Lets not opt for one liners which are clearly not based on facts.

    Data link capability of IAF

We don't use Russian data-links on the MKIs. Or even the IN's migs.

    Data link capability of IAF

PAF does not have access to F-16's comm. gear source codes, neither do most nations which employ it. This of course does not mean that the PAF cannot and will not develop alternate comm. measures, as it has in the past.

    Data link capability of IAF

IAF platforms operate on ODL, the Phalcons can "talk" to the Sukhois and any other platform with ODL, including the IN's 29Ks (Datalink-2). In fact during the recent TROPEX the IAF's and the IN's jets did just that. The "ground-network" or the AFNET has not been commissioned due to the reasons...

Comparative analysis of radar tech of Pakistan and India

That detailed document was supposed to be classified, the document itself states as much. Uttam's been given 459.65 crore so far in funding as per the MoD's submission in front of the Standing Committee on Defence.

Subramanian Swamy questions 'PK' funding, hints at 'Dubai', ISI link

Darpok ko hi toh bhagwan ki zaroorat padti hai. Agree with the message of the quote. Didn't like the chasing Shiva scene, Shiva should always be accompanied by Nandi and the army of pretas. When I become the leader of this nation, I'll ordain it to be the law, anything else shall be blasphemy.

CAG blames Army for delay in Arjun tanks’ induction

Don't you have some kebabs to swallow? I'm taking it easy. No extra technical details, no crazy amounts of data. I've even spared the less informed posters on the thread. My time off from PDF has made me mellow.:agree:

CAG blames Army for delay in Arjun tanks’ induction

Which can be pakka indigenised IF the numbers are right and a sub-systems ecosystem becomes economical. No, this is not hyperbole, and no this is not DRDO's line, asked around and even folks at TASL and L&T feel that way.

‘Mountain corps is being armed by reserve equipment’

The MSC will be comprised of mountain specialists itself, ergo the whole "mountain strike" part. The SF can very well be the spear, deploying and holding ground as advance elements till the body of the MSC gets there to relieve them. I can't locate the darned infra thread. Had explained the...

Arrest Warrant of Abul Aziz Red Mosque

Convenient. After all even the army is reluctant to fight on all fronts.

Arrest Warrant of Abul Aziz Red Mosque

Hopefully youtube is up and running now in Pak or you're in Turkey. This is what I found. He termed the incident as painful and inhumane BUT with the caveat that the policies of the government and the army (specifically Zarb-e-Azab) were responsible for bringing on the attack.

‘Mountain corps is being armed by reserve equipment’

They won't be embedded with the MSC, that is unlikely. The MSC is meant to pick a spot and open a front along said point on the LAC, give the Chinese something to think about if they try and cross over. That and more, all that has been explained quite a while back (on the border infra thread)...

‘Mountain corps is being armed by reserve equipment’

Setting the TAR on "fire" is not quite possible. HUMINT and sabotage is very much on the cards. The baniya can be very sneaky when required, and we always carry a dagger. :D

‘Mountain corps is being armed by reserve equipment’

You want to set TAR on fire? Reminds me of this dream I had of trailing a certain convoy down the Astore road or Oscar's flights of fancy about operating in the Thar through Cholistan. Disruptive covert ops are part of the plan and will be executed if required.

Dassault Rafale, tender | News & Discussions

Correct about the complexities of dealing with multiple nations involved in the consortium. The ToT involved in the Rafale deal is as it is M-ToT meant to ensure strategic and operational autonomy, at best the know how and not the know why. With the EF consortium to renegotiate even an...

    What do the Taliban want?

@Oscar Kebab between their buns. That's what the buggers want. How is it that they are still operating with such impunity? By now a very real fear of god should have been hammered into their hearts.
