What are the major differences in terms of avionics and communication sensors in the Block 1 and 2?
Also, will the Block 1s not get the refueling probes?
What exactly do you mean by "buy them tomorrow"? Lets say we did have the money..it would still take at least one year or more to fulfill that order. Or are you referring to used Block 52s we can take from USAF stocks?
Already busted as Fake News by none other than the Chinese envoy himself. Please close this thread.

The third one is particularly interesting as it shows PAF pilots with their holsters and magazines still tied on so I'm assuming this is right after the mission. I wonder what kind of survival equipment PAF pilots carry for such missions like radios, emergency rations etc.
Speaking of LoC here’s Bipin’s new statement. Posting the link here as the other thread had been closed.

Is there no way for both countries to look for other options when it comes to engines? Can Pakistan not consult Safran (Poland) to see if they can provide an alternate? We do need gunships rather quickly.
What kind of weapons and missiles will equip the Pakistani hinds? Have we purchased any Hellfire equivalent missiles from Russia to carry them on these gunships?
The Eurocopter you talk about is not a dedicated gunship but primarily a military transport chopper with secondary attack capabilities. Plus being European it comes at a very heavy price. The Mi-35 is top of the line for the purpose for which it was designed. It also shares commonalities with...
I don't know how you established that most of the design work on the Thunders is carried out in China. PAC is fully equipped to design it here completely. The fact they partially rely on China only has to do with cheap labour and other associated costs.
When I visited the PAF Museum in Karachi back in 2003, I saw a long line of retired F-6's parked just next to the museum inside a gated area manned by military guards. Don't know what the place was or whether there are retired planes still parked there.
Question is what tangible steps has the PAF taken to ensure coverage of major gaps in our airspace post the Bin Laden raid? If I could put it another way...Will the PAF be able to detect and intercept stealthy aircraft if they were to penetrate our airspace from the same area today?
ACM Sohail Aman has already stated in a recent interview that we are not looking for foreign aircraft for LIFT. Dual seat JF-17's will start becoming available in a few months time which will fulfill this requirement.
