Indian news outlet mentions Bangladesh-origin MasterChef contestant Kishwar as ‘Indian’

I stayed in London for 5 long years. I have hardly seen a restaurant branding as Bangladeshi barring the Altgate area. But most of them are run by the Bangladeshis, if not the workers are invariably Bangladeshi. Outside it was mentioned Indian cuisine, very few cases Bengali cuisine was added...

Delhi has not vaccinated, so Dhaka is not sending hilsa either: Anandabazar

You are correct, the colloquial Bengali is taken reference from the language spoken by people from Nadia, not of Khustia. Khustia is little different. What I can understand is its the Rarhi Dialect spoken by Old Presidency Division of British India which included Howrah and Kolkata. Saying so I...

Bhakts Going Crazy Blocking Bangladeshi Appliances: Make-in-India Not Working

Finally a sensible post. I understand, if you have a country size of India surrounding you in three sides, it creates insecurity. Something like a influential person in a community is jealously looked upon by others but can't be ignored. Now on your next part, yes a option was given to a...
