  • Honestly! no, I didn't watch it because I wasn't in the mood yesterday, I was exhausted. But I will watch it in right time my brother. As you its not short.
I open my computer few minutes ago :)

:) I may have similar culture but no... I am not a muslim :D I am too arragont to worship...
Bro lock at 4:07 in the video he has a cordless phone in his hand. Btw tanx for enlighten me on M.A Jinnah
Many thanks. In fact I had seen the movie immediately it was released. I am sorry the Director has not done justice to the great man. GOP should take a project, commission a well-known Hollyood Director and writers/historians from Pakistan for a fresh film. For example "Omar Mukhtar" produced under Gadaffi's patronage has been a very good work. I haven't seen much of Tipu Sultan produced by PTV, but I hope it has corrected a lot of nonsense put into the Indian version. Bahadur Shah Jafar and the 1857 Uprising needs to be looked at through the eyes of the Muslims. A surviving Prince had come back from Arabia to read an uprising. We do not know much about him. So far we only have British or Hindu versions which ignore the Muslim leadership of this uprising. Nawab Sirajuddala has been much rehabilitated by us. But Wazed Ali Shah of Oudh remains unknown. Only recently we are learning something about the Begum, Queen Mother.
But now we have a resurgent Hindu nationalist Ram Rajya that will bother all 3 (Pakistan, Indian Muslims and Bangladesh) of our divided polity for the foreseeable future. We will have to manage this situation the best we can, which what all of us are trying to do, since 1947.
I watched the whole movie, thanks for the link. I think it shows a version of the events on this controversial topic. I used to think Jinnah had made a mistake, nowadays I am not so sure. I think the leaders at the time did what they thought was best and it is not for us to judge them now, because we can no way understand what they were going through a century ago, to follow a course of action and to make the decisions that they did.

My logic for thinking like that was that over time because of higher birthrate among Muslims, from 25% we would reach 40% and even more than 50% given sufficient time. Also, I believe in Historical Continuity, a hypothesis that I have developed and another theory about size of population being directly proportional to the power of a state. So if we did not have partition, my estimate is that we would have the most powerful state in the world, because of both of these two factors.
This is Jinnah St. in Ankara :)

The Cinnah Street is one of the elegant roads of Ankara, at which some of the embassies, modern residential buildings, banks and restaurants are located. At the upper part -as can be seen in the photo- one side of the street belongs to the Botanic Park of Ankara.

The street carries the name of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founding leader of Pakistan. He can also be considered as one of the pioneers of the longstanding friendship ties between Turkey and Pakistan.
