LOL at above, pretty honest assessment if a tad exaggerated; kudos!
That means nothing, my man! It's insurance more than anything. They would not stop a given program
until its replacement was activated. Then if the F-35 is included in the new competition as has been hinted
to recently in Ottawa, you need not stop the payments until a choice is cleared, preserving your spot.
It's merely the two bones chasing dog sensical/logical thing in application over procurement.
I do admit it is a rare and welcome idea from just about any government though, making sense I mean ...

Just remember They haven't even stopped paying into the program.
