  • Thanks for taking a look, we were hoping that you'd register at China defence as well. We'd be honoured to have you there, doubly so if you choose to poke in once in a while and post on what interests you.

    Here's the web link

This is an invitation on behalf of all the mods so Siegecrossbow and no_name as well.

    Cheers!
    I am, thanks! :)

Dear Cardsharp - I read through the article, and I really can't find much fault. There are some grammatical issues... for example, the plural of "aircraft" is just "aircraft", and the word "aircrafts" is not correct. Just little stuff like that.

    It's a good article.
    Hi Chogy,

Over at China defence we just started a small translation project with the aim of taking Chinese aviation articles and forum posts and translate them into English for everyone. We're hoping to offer some insight into the Chinese language defence world, and I was hoping to get a pair of experienced eyes over our first finished article with some constructive criticism.

I would be grateful if you gave this thread a look over.

    Cheers,

I respect Russian hardware because I studied classified details for years. Do I think it is as good as U.S. or European hardware? No, but it demands healthy respect, and they are getting better. An awful lot of dead U.S. airmen in Korea and Vietnam respect the MiGs they encountered.

I don't know enough about the Mirage 2000, but in general, one of the very great strengths of Western airframes is the machine/man interface. That is one area where there is still a substantial lead, IMO.
Sir,why do you respect the Russian A/C's and their capabilities?
Also,is a Su-30 MKI better than a Mirage 2000 in terms of the man machine interface they have or does the Mirage connect better with their pilots?!
