  • Pakistan should be secular but upto a limit which could be acceptable... what u do in ur house in none of our concern... as for kalambagh... i think if it benefits Pakistan than sure.... but emotional blackmail etc is just BS... National interests come first.
You are absolutely right. Though the problem is the way in which islam and sharia is shown through westernized media. The connotations for Sharia for some people are the worst imaginable. I have tried to explain this several times in this forum but these people do not or chose not to understand a very simple thing: You can not force a secular system in a conservative country such as Turkey or for that sake Pakistan. Islamic law and political system can be extremely succesful if done correctly and without abusement. Look friend, it doesn't matter what kind of political system you have. If the rulers are unjust and corrupt it always fails in the end, whether we are talking about Democracy, Sharia, Communism, Socialism or something else. Turkey and Tunisia both tried to ban religion in every institution but it backfired and people were oppressed. No matter what system you have it is imperative that you grant your citizen basic rights such as freedom of religion and movement.

They tried to poison him with food in prison several times, but it had no affect. The new Turkey saw him as a threat, he also had conversations with Atatürk, you can research it later.

The poisons didn't kill him, by the will of Allah swt, the poisons were remained and gathered in his upper part of his chest.

Highly known scholar in Turkey, and many Islamic groups reads his books in Turkey, and the most known Islamic group in Turkey called "Nurcu" is called after his name "Said Al-Nursi". The "Nurcu" group is very powerful in Turkey, and has alot of schools, highschools and universities both in Turkey and 100 other countries in the world (even in Denmark they have around 10 schools). And they further have one of the biggest TV channel "Samanyolu" in Turkey.

I hope this was an answer to your question.
He is a historical figure lived in Turkey, from 1878-1960. His title was: Bediuzzaman Said Nursî (Badi' al-Zaman) which means "The Wonder of the Age". He was a Sunni Muslim theologian who wrote the Risale-i Nur Collection, a body of Qur'anic commentary exceeding six thousand pages.

You can read a little about him in wikipedia also.
His vision was to revive Islam in Turkey after the crush of the Ottoman Empire. Muslims were generally oprssed by the new Turkey, and there were certain rules and obligations directed against Muslims. He was through alot of struggle, and he was prisoned also for a very long time. In prison he was teaching the criminals and also none-guilty people about Islam and his ideas. He also wrote most of his "Risale-i Nur" collection in the prison.
There is difference between secularism and secularism. Some think secularism is a form of suppressing religions while others regard it as an umbrella for religious freedom. Erdogan sees it as the latter, while the corrupt politicians before him saw it as a tool for opression.
nai bhai... when i went to army selection center for my prelims back in 2010 in quetta... i got info frm there tht for me 60% marks in FSC was the eligibility area bcoz i was not educated in baluchistan... its reserved for people who have actually studied in those impoverished or isolated regions..
yaar domicile ka faida he nahin hai mujhay.... if ur educated in punjab, sindh and KP all ur life than the domicile is useless... it only benefits those who have actually studied in baluchistan or other backward towns.... so im in situation im screwed.
The plan is to complete my LLB Hons and try CSS and if tht fails than try politics... im kinda doing LLB coz of politics... baat samjha bhai.
We already do have an "Islamist" PM in Turkey. Islamists in Turkey are like liberals in Europe. Those who grant most rights to everyone. Funny, right?
