Actually Aluminum is a good insulator.

That's why paramedics use it in severe cold cases. But i don't know if it's gonna work against our UAVs or not.

Termal cameras detect the infrared rays emitted from an object meaning alu foil could effectively block it, so in theory it should indeed work, at least to a certain degree since the foil itself will eventually get warmer from body temparature i guess.



Edit: it seems to work quite good

But apart from that arent the UAV cameras actually night vision which alu foil wont help at all, maybe they are trying to avoid IR seeker missiles.
