Have not we seen western powers pushing our regional goons against us before ? Saddam attacked us with support of literally the whole major world against us. We are literally seeing rise of a shiite powerhouse in this region. Thats how times change and thats how international politics can turnout to be. as for the topic, to keep the balance, US will probably turn a blind eye towards more Iranian BM/CM tests in future or any possible 4+ 4.5 gen AF procurement from Russia/China. I see Solid fueled Sejjil based IRMB with Emad like MaRV or a moderate ranged ICBM based upon one of our tested SLV's being launched in future. Somar CM, Emad MaRV will be crucial for us in future. Maybe 5-6 squadrons of Su-30M, S-400 from Russia will go on smoothly as well in coming years. They will be enough along with 4 squadrons of F-14 AM (phoenix/Fakour armed) and 2 squadrons of (if upgraded in future) Mig-29 to guard our cities. We can pack a serious neck breaking punch to our enemies ... this aint 80s when my children had to pick up guns for our vatan.

THey may like saying it out loud... but in the End it's an opportunity for them to grow and get what they couldn't even dream off years back... YOu are just giving them the escuse to buy/develop what you have and even more in the future...
