J-16D - China Builds Its Own 'Wild Weasel' To Suppress Air Defenses

Thx for your info
By that perception we can not even get j10 also

No, as explained the J-10 - even if there is surely a "connection" between both - is a substantially different bird. It is larger, uses a very much different engine and so on, as such it can be probably described as the Lavi's larger, bigger brother or it evolved by retaining a similar configuration to something comparable from the original YF-17 demonstrator to a recent F/A-18E Super Hornet; surely not a copy.

For the Chinese Flankers the situation is besides all changes and updates still a Flanker and that is simply undeniable and even more since there was never a licence concerning the twin-seater, the MKK and the J-15 I can fully understand that some rate the J-11BS, J-16 and J-15 "illegal" closes, copies or whatever.
In the end this discussion is more on semantics and I'm by now already convinced that the Russians accepted this more or less since they were paid for and got probably other compensations. However a sale to any other country - and be it Pakistan will not matter - would be a strict break of that clause and I'm sure the Russians would then react !

As such from all I know, the chances to get a J-16 are plain ZERO ... maybe if Pakistan will find anyone who pays for them, they can get a customised Russian-Flanker, but surely not a Chinese one.

indians here trying hard to convince others that Su-30 of late 90's is superior then J-16D of 2017 without any technical details to support their claims :)

Still a feel of J-16& J-16D is way better then su-30 of 90's . stop day dreaming bhakt.
You are being way too ignorant. I am sure you have read several upgrades on the aircraft. You can keep living with your dreams time will tell when both the aircraft's will face each other. We don't need your retard expertise without any facts which should truly compare all the details.

Deino,

There have been a few fighter aircraft deals that have been called off at the very last moment by the vested interests in the Paf---.

These deals had the blessings of the govt---but the F16 mafia in the Paf overruled them in the end.
F16 Mafia, what a proper term! IAF even doesn't want F16 BLK70, it means something.

I think Russia will not mad at China selling J16, cause it's a perfect reason Russian could convince India to buy more T50 from Russia. China is doing advertisement for Russia free of charge.

Absolutely wang bro most of your comments are on the mark.

China can help Pakistan to integrate Russia weapon on J16, and Russia can sell weapon package to Pakistan to cut a cake. That's a easy job, everyone will be happy. Pakistan can have KH59-2 ASM or Russia VLRAAM, maybe, HaHaHa! What a deal!

Still, after that BS stunt the U.S. tried to pull by selling India Super F-16's I highly believe Pakistan should never ever trust and buy another jet fighter from the U.S. ever again. It doesn't matter if it's politics or money or whatever.

At present the F-16 is the backbone of Pakistan's conventional forces and by selling our enemy a more advanced version is obviously saying, that if it came down to it they don't really give a flying f*** what happens to Pakistan. And the Super F-16 offer PROVES without a doubt that they were willing to come down to it.

Everyone in this forum understand it ,except for PAF.

PAF has become a professional second hand F16 Antiquer. At least For the good side we can see Turkey can help to upgrade those old F16.

Hope the J16 deal is serious.

I am all for PAF going for J-16s but even though they are 2nd hand F-16s they can still fill the 4th gen gap. So I think PAF will skip J-16 and go straight for the J-31. For the record the J-31 V2 is one of the sexiest jet fighters I've ever seen and I prefer for PAF to acquire jet fighters from our All-Weather Iron Brother.

Bro J31 and J16 are totally playing different roles , one is for Air superiority and another one is for anti-ship. One is for airforce and another one is for navy.

China navy also have fighter planes like J15 and J16/Su30MKK/J11BS/, even J10a/B/c. Who controls the sealane, who control the region.

Guys Guys
We are talking about J-16D here
The special SAM Hunter version of the plan....lets not mix up with the J-16 base model here

I want us to go for J-16D if we are going bcz then we have a SAM hunter that can keep indian S-400's or whatever engaged while rest of the fleet gets freedom to operate in the hostile area...

J16D is a perfect platform to run SEAD.

J16D is a perfect platform to run SEAD.

That's what I'm saying mate
We have potent platforms for other roles....but S-400 and other high tech SAM's threaten the freedom to operate in different areas.

J-16D can help there and keep the SAM's engaged while other platforms get freedom to move in unload their payloads wherever they wish to...
