So you are assuming all 15 million haryanvis are into Olympic sports? Wanna compare 15000 indians vs 180000 Pakistanis?

But you are basing those figures on 1 indian group. A nation that is more than 7 times bigger than Pakistan and has far more investment in sport. But apart from Southern Punjab in Pakistan, no one else bats an eyelid as far as sports is concerned. So you want to compare 15000 indians to 2000 Pakistanis?

Let these intellectual share their knowledge about how according to their observations, an average indian is inferior physically to Pakistanis..i always find it rich coming from a country which only sent "0"athletes in Olympics this year by direct qualifications and only sent 8 via wild card.

The difference is clear.

Funding and finance play a big part in the development of any sport. India ivests in sports such as the IPL cricket league, Football, kabadi tournaments, as well as hockey. Pakistan's government doesn't spend a rupee on sports. Thailand is the home of Muay Thai but there are many practitioners of the deadly MA in US UK Australia an worldwide. In the west it is common to find a local MA gym that teach several forms of MA. Again it's about investment and years of dedicated practice. I've seen a 5'4ft Burmese Muay Thai practitioner beat a 6'ft+ Irish street fighter.

Only few sports have good facilities, Cricket, Badminton, Hockey, Kabaddi and India is doing good in these sports. Most of these are not part of Olympics and rest of the sports get same treatment as they get in Pakistan.

Likewise I admire the Sikh art of Gatka. There are some members on this forum with strong opinions about race and ethnicity. Where I am from, every summer there are marriages between Indian Muslims and Pakistanis. My uncle is the head chef at a banqueting hall and once Asian wedding season begins, usually March/April there will always be a Muslim Indo/Pak wedding. It's the norm now in the west. Having also worked in education I've come across many young people who have best of both cultures, one Pakistani parent and the other an Indian.

I have a different opinion Pakistanis from Punjab have many similar charterisitcs with Indian Sikh Punjabis not forgetting language in spoken form, food and certain traditions. The Pakistanis of southern Punjab and Sindh look similar to the Indians across the border in Rajestan and Gujurat. The only difference would be the language and regional dress.

But those Punjabis in india make up less than 3% of india's population and around 60% of Pakistan's population. So at least 97% of india's population have no racial connection to Pakistan whatsoever. Also people from Northern & Western Pakistan who make up around 30-35% of the Pakistan population are racially and culturally identical to Afghans and Iranians/Persians. That doesn't make Pakistan Iran or Afghanistan.

Look into Bashir Ahmed, an American Pakistani, US soldier and martial arts expert who quit the US army to introduce MMA to Pakistan. Bashir without any support from the government managed to teach MA and hold local tournaments in Lahore 10 years ago. So in reality MMA is a new phenomena in Pakistan.

So what? There are many Pakistanis here in London getting married to Iraqis, Lebanese, Jordanians, Syrians, Turks, Iranians, Colombians and Brazilians. What point are you trying to make? Please read my comment carefully I specifically stated Indian Muslim marriages with Pakistanis. Neither am I denying Pakistanis are marrying Arabs, Turks, Kurds or Europenas.
