‘Iron lady’ Ayesha Mumtaz fired for taking a stand against ‘influential’ dirty restaurants

Punjab Food Authority Director Ayesha Mumtaz has been reportedly removed from her post, according to sources inside the department asking not to be named.

According to the details, Ayesha Mumtaz who shot to fame for her matchless resistant against the eatery owners for poor hygienic conditions has been sacked for taking a stand over reopening of restaurants that were closed because of lack of hygiene.

Sources privy to the development claim that the lady officer raised concerns with her officers after some sealed restaurants resumed their operation.

Ayesha and her seniors were engaged in a tug of war but finally the authority has decided to get rid of her. According to a leading television channel, PFA director had applied for an extended 104 days leave.

Ayesha earned much fame after she spearheaded a widespread operation against the poor hygienic conditions in eateries across Punjab.

The PFA officer along with her team conducted operations and sealed top notch hotels across provincial capital despite threats and lucrative offers.

PFA and Punjab government are yet to comment on the news.

Sir this has been going on for past 70 yrs...the honest and patriotic people are forced and disliked so much so by these corrupt hooligans in the power that they either spent a miserable life or they are forced into some sort of exile. Especially this PMLn mafia that take has taken over Punjab and the centre. No one seems to be powerful enough to dislodge these fully entrenched parasites. No anti-biotic seems to be working and IK is actually the only panacea that this nation needs but the idiots always try to downplay his leadership and role through frivolous accusations. They will all be responsible for the looming catastrophe that this nation faces today...we either rectify our mistakes and mend our ways..or we shall face the music sooner or later. We have already faced that in 1971 but I don't know how much did we learn from our mistakes?

Very well said Sir, and I agree with you a 100%...... Personally, I feel that the best thing which IK did for Pakistan is to bring the young and the literate class towards politics. Like we were discussing yesterday that most of the illiterate class keeps voting for these corrupt politicians over and over. In Punjab, entire families vote for the same party because the MPA or the MNA of that area has a friend in that family, without caring for merit or previous mishaps. Seeing the same families in power again and again just sent most people into a deep depression and losing all hope in this system.
As a whole, I don't think that the country has learned much from its mistakes but thanks to IK, for giving a gigantic and much needed boost to the average person's moral.
