France has started airstrikes against the Islamic State group, also known as ISIS, from aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, according to reports.

The Agence France-Presse reported that several Rafale fighter planes took off from the carrier early Friday to be part of an attack in Mosul, an ISIS-stronghold in Iraq. The country's only aircraft carrier was reportedly sent to the region earlier in September.

-2 Hawkeye.
-2 Dolphin helicopters.
-1 Alouette III helicopter.
-1 NH90 Helicopter..

The strike group is composed of the ;

French navy's ;

-Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier.
-Cassard anti-air warfare frigate.
-Chevalier Paul air-defence frigate.
-Jean de Vienne anti submarine frigate.
-Marne command and replenishment oiler.
-Rubis nuclear attack submarine.

US Navy's ;

-USS Ross guided missile destroyer.

German navy's ;

-Augsburg anti submarine frigate.
-
On the same time,4 CAESAR canons,other equipments and 150 soldiers of the "Task force Wagram" have been deployed south of Mosul,in order to support the iraqi forces fighting the terrorists of daesh and support them in their operation to take back Mosul.

And it was just a matter of time before they fired their first shells....

Could be Christian, lots of Pakistani Christians in the UK. Walthamstow has a large community, they do a great Christmas Halwa.

i know not all pakistanis are muslims, i read an article where a Pakistani solider was skih and was a part of a border ceremony
