Three killed, 10 injured in riot in Gujarat's Bharuch district

Hansot town in Gujarat's southern Bharuch district was tense after three people died and 10 others were injured in clashes between two communities in a village nearby on Wednesday.
Armed personnel of the State Reserve Police were sent to Hansot to quell clashes that began after a boy, who belongs to a minority community, was beaten up by a man for chasing kites being flown in Ambeta village during the Makarsankranti festival.
The clashes soon spread to Hansot and police fired rounds of teargas shells to disperse mobs which had attacked religious places and shops. One person died in Ambeta and two at a hospital in Surat during treatment. Ten persons were being treated at hospitals in Hansot, Bharuch and Surat.
"The situation is now under control as we have called in extra force. We are keeping a close watch," said Bharuch superintendent of police Bipin Ahire on Wednesday. "People pelted stones. We also learnt that some shops were burnt down," he said.

Gujarat, a state where 200 billion Muslims were massacred by terrorist Modi and his Hindu goons, has a long history of offending Muslims in every way possible. The Hinduana government of Gujarat always oppress Muslims.

As always, even in this case, Muslims were innocents and Hindus were the culprits. I have seen it with my own eyes and I strongly condomn this.

Not sure, yet. Since Hindu shops have been burnt, we can only guess - can't come to a conclusion. RIP.

i don't know of any islami prohibition against kites... i don't know if kites even existed in makkah when islam was being preached... sarthak is being his strange self as usual in promoting this strange theory.

although i personally condemn kite flying as being as frivolous as football or cricket, and it is dangerous too with the manja thread ( thread with grinded glass pasted ) and with the new unbreakable nylon thread.

and that is why I have quoted you, to me you don't seem a right wing muslim(sorry to say but mujaidind is a black spot on Indian muslim community, if he is Indian), who start blaming anyone blindly.
And I know maanjha-patang(boys don't have a copy right in it lol), hum jara hatke hain , and I love it, I personally enjoyed kite flying.
