Hmmm.......

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Privatization, Muhammad Zubair Tuesday said the business of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Jahangir Tareen multiplied during his tenure as a Minister in the government of former President General (retd) Pervaiz Musharraf.
"By the end of 1990s, Jahangir Tareen owned an ordinary business but as soon as he became member of Pervaiz Musharraf's government cabinet, he started multiplying his wealth and now he is ranked as one of the richest people of the country", Muhammad Zubair flanked by Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed said in a press conference here today.

He said in 2004, Jahangir Tareen, who is the major contributor to PTI's ongoing protesting campaigns, influenced to write-off loan of Rs 247 million from Habib Bank Limited (HBL).

Zubair further said as a Minister, the PTI General Secretary also launched an agriculture support programme under which a huge fund worth billions of rupees came from abroad but he used this amount to support his own business.

"By 1999, Jahangir Tareen's sugar mills were producing only 4000 tons of sugar but now his mills are producing a huge amount of 60,000 tons of the commodity", he said adding he is also the biggest contractor of Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP).

Now the question arises, the minister of state said that how he succeeded to accumulate such a huge amount of wealth in a short period of time.

Muhammad Zubair said Imran Khan announced a civil disobedience but his right hand and PTI Secretary General's company had paid billions of rupees in connection with utility bills and taxes.

He also alleged that by using advantage of his party's government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Jahangir Tareen also received number of contracts in different sectors in KPK.

"Imran Khan always criticized Pakistan Muslim League (N) for doing business along with involving in politics but if PTI succeeds to make government then what would Jahangir Tareen do, leaving politics or his business", Muhammad Zubair questioned.

He said PTI's 82 percent parliamentarians are non-regular tax payers adding that during the whole decade of 1990, Imran Khan himself never filed tax returns.

He said soon he would also present proofs of more irregularities of Imran Khan and other PTI leaders.

Jahangir Tareen's business multiplied during Musharraf tenure: Zubair

Already answered here for Nooni trolls:

If he is takenhim to courts. Capture him as laws says. But instead of doing there job pmln gov is doing press conference to inform some one else to capture him ?

PMLN politician was challanged by Qaira about NS SS are loan defaulters and pmln politician said I am not here to answer Nawas Sharif.

Welcome to Patwaristan, where a Minister does press conference and talks about one man's loan defaults, instead of going ahead and arresting him for doing so. Someone kick this minister in his nuts and tell him that he is a damn minister. The Govt is there to arrest such people and punish them, instead of doing press conferences to score some brownie points.

If he is indeed a loan defaulter and his business multiplied manifold when he was minister, he should be taken to court and answer for every paisa.
