this is good news

It means we are in a better position to support russia in your fight with west. Hang on russia and never back off.

Western sanctions are forcing Russia to turn to China for everything now, from space parts to corporate financing.

Great for both of us.

In the short term, China obviously is the winner, which comes from our political and economic clout.

Russia may have a period of painful adjust, but they will benefit in the long run with a west hassel-free model. Besides, they get crimea, not bad. In the end it is win win.

USA cries about our trade surplus. And then they sanction/embargo a bunch of other countries, forcing them to do business with us, buy our stuff and boost our trade surplus. It is ever possible to satisfy the USA?

Maybe Germany needs someone like Schroder coming back to power.

Merkel's true leadership capability seems to be exposed in the critical moment.

More good news for Asian airliners if China closes its national airspace to Western airliners.

I am not sure which Asian nations would benefit from the food embargo. Probably. Latin America will benefit most.

Russia has been doing some heroic stuff recently, easing up the pressure on China.
