Doesn't look possible to me. May be only in Oasis?

How do you find enough drinking water for many ten millions of population?
How can you do agriculture? Where is your rice/staple from?

Check out the tigris-Euphrates area. Many middle-eastern cultures employed that area. This is just one example

One amazing thing about Pakistan is you guys almost uses the entire Indus river, creating fertile farmland out of desert.

I see Nile, Tigris and Euphrates potential still need to be develop. Too much water flow to the sea.

I know:-) . Interestingly, even many of our 'ancient' love stories revolve around the rivers etc. The Indus and its tributaries had a pretty big effect on our cultural life which is still visible.

Look at the incredible Pakistan. The Sindh province is essentially desert, flanked by desert in Rajastan and Balochistan. A lot part of Pakistani Punjab is also semi arid.

Pakistan essentially drawn out majority of water from Indus, and create fertile farm out of desert.

The Nile delta is pretty incredible as well. The Egyptians create fertile land out of desert.

People learn to deal with the hand they are dealt, that's how.

simple! remember that before the eyes of GOD they are all MUSLIMS and they should be cooperating together rather than bending to the wishes of the goras

Pakistan is blessed to have different geography and climates

The fact that ancient civilizations originated in river valleys, neither in Deserts nor in Forests, is not by accident but by Design.

It would be a pertinent point to remember that man learned to fashion bronze tools much before Iron tools.Bronze tools have the advantage that they raw material for Bronze could be easily found in rivers and fashioning tools like axes from Bronze is easy.

But Bronze is also relatively soft compared to Iron and it is not possible to clear large tracts of land using bronze tools thus civilization took hold along River valleys in Arid areas than Deserts, which would be too dry to support cities and agriculture, and Forests which would be impossible to clear in humid areas.

With advent of Iron age, civilization took hold in erstwhile heavily forested areas away from river valleys.

Look at all the most important civilizations and the most ancient. All of them (more or less) originated in the ME. More precisely the Arab world of today. The region is known as the cradle of civilization for a reason.

Can you tell me about any ancient civilization in Thailand because I don't know about any?

The climate was different back then as well. The Fertile Crescent went from Northern modern-day KSA all the way to Southern Turkey. Even in this current day climate it would be enough to support civilization.

The entire ME has huge underground water reserves. That aside from rivers and coastal regions supported the more drier areas and still do this to this day. More than rainfall but not many know this.

Look at the number of ancient civilizations from that map that dates back to 3000 BC!

More explanation should not be necessary.

There are only four civilizations from Bronze age : Nile river Valley, Indus river valley, Tigris-Euphrates , Hwang-ho river valley civilization.

Rest like Greek, Vedic,Persian are from Iron age.

There were more civilizations from the Bronze Age in the ME but those are the most profilic ones. The ME as a region is the most rich region in terms of ancient civilizations and their influence. This is why I find this thread moronic. Especially as it was made by a Thai.

The Bronze Age (advanced one) developed in the ME itself.

The climate was also much more different 5000 years ago.

You also forgot all the older (than Greek, Persian, Vedic) Semitic Bronze Age and Iron Age civilizations in the ME and Northern Africa.

The climate changes also includes Northern Africa as well.

Look at map you know. On the right is Rajastan, so desolate that its only purpose is for nuclear testing. On the left is Balochistan, a big desert.

Wiki say below of Balochistan weather.

The desert climate is characterised by hot and very arid conditions. Occasionally strong windstorms make these areas very inhospitable.

I don't know if this is the reason.

It seems that Cambodia language must be one of the india language. In Thailand we have a "Royal Vocabulary" We have to memorize since young in school. I wondered why there were too many vocabs, too much that it can form another language within itself. When I get older, the answer is its the Cambodian language. I used to have an indian friend and I ask him. He understand the vocabulary. I even wonder when a policy of Malaysia to divide its citizen into 2 classes is called BhumiBhutra. I understand this words from my children time vocab. It means the children of the land. Perhaps this is because Hinduism was the religous around here in the past? Could it be possible that South East Asia ancient kingdoms was started by Indian settler?

I wil show you

natra = eye.
Butra = child.
Bhata = foot.

Any one know?
