I have a little doubt about your claim "poverty is decreasing in India".................my doubt is because of recent event when Onion prices raised in India........and people were ready to sell their blood for it......I live in Pakistan and know that our economy is in deep trouble because of numerous challenges..........but I can say one thing that even in this troublesome hour.......Alhamdulilah no such incident is observed in Pakistan.........

Qin dynasty 221 BC - 206 BC
18 Kingdoms fall under Qin dynasty, there was only ONE emperor. It was a period of a power struggle to be successor of the throne..

Han Dynasty 206 BC - 220 AD
The successor of Qin dynasty is Han dynasty.


Any university history book will tell you China was unified in 221 BC, even Japan was unified in 660BC. India was formed only in 1947, by gaining independent from the British.

India was first united by Maurya Empire much earlier than a short lived Qin Dynasty ever existed. Indian identity is quite older than your Middle Kingdom identity.

Lolz, what makes you think that? Qin dynasty ruled from 221 to 206 BC after that it was disintegrated.. Our own mayuran empire lasted much more than that.. And what you meant by rightful sucession? after qin dynasty, there was no rightful sucession, rather small vessel states fighting against each other.. Do read about different empires before spreading your expert nonsense in this forum..

A vassal state need a hegemon. Please tell me who was the hegemon at that time. I think you don't even know what vassal state means. When Qin felt apart, the old feudal families all tried to take over the Qin state and claim the imperial title as righful successor and at the end of the struggel the Han dynasty (also an old feudal family linked with the Qin) emerged.

What does it matter that the Mauryan empire lasted longer than Qin? What matters is the successing dynasty that claimed to inherit the preceding dynasty which was never part of Indian state philosophy.

The Persians always had their Peacock throne, the Japanese their Chrysamthemum throne, the Chinese their Dragon throne regardless what dynasty was in power. France, Rome or Germany had different dynasties but all of them claimed to inherit the preceding titles and court protocol.

That proves China wasn't united, because they were many unrelated Empires, giving fancy classification won't change anything. BTW, there was unification of Germany.

A unified China under a single central government didn't exist before 1950, however I am excluding Taiwan for that.

Herodotus mentioned the name Ἰνδία(Indía) around 440BC(hope the Greek letters will help you). The map is drawn based on Herodotus's account.
