Democracy In Arab World: Reality Or Pipedream?

Why are you getting personal? Is it an inherent behavior of many Jamaat supporters to suspect every opposition to be a Hindu or Indian?

Don't create religious hatred on PDF. Why do you guys always do it and who said Hindus are killing Muslims in BD? If you deeply hate a specific religious group atleast keep it in yourself. Don't spread hatred in public forum to get political advantage. Islam may denounce every other belief system but never commands followers to hate people based on religion, race, class etc.

Please do not quote me again, I do not engage in conversation with Indians or Indian agents. Thank you.

@kalu_miah im glad you back bro.

we miss ya already, its been awhile huh! how u been?

Bro, I miss you guys too. I am doing ok, how about you?

Yes, its been a while, sorry I could not visit the forum that often. I got busy with some projects. But my Saudi brothers are always on my mind. I always treasure the respect I got from you guys.

Well, BD atleast has AL-BNP but Saudi Arabia doesn't even allow any party to be formed. Absolute Monarchy.

You had the audacity to run your moth on others yet you house has never been in order ?

Keep talking with you Saviors then. Do whatever makes you happy. :enjoy:

You've got masters of your own too.

Bro, I miss you guys too.

Hey there  Welcome back dude! Long time no see, hope you're doing good.

When you grow out of tribes/clans and families, you'll have democracy.

I'd argue not. Let me remained you that democracy never found its way in societies where faith plays a key role or traditions.. etc

Turkey, Tunisia, and Egypt (failed) have society where the secular is not really democratic...they can sneak and ask the military to come and sabotage their own democracy. In Bangladesh, it is just like 2 party control the national politics entirely...it will make democracy become ugly with too many hate between them. In Indonesia, we have one secular party PDI-P (Soekarno loyalis/left), New Order loyalist (Golkar/Democrat (center right), and Islamist (right). All power are united against any military attempt to take control our politics again. The New Order loyalist has closed ties with the Islamist...thats why since reformation until now..they are always together.

And I believe that the military is prefer to have democracy either...since their first interest is to look this nation become stronger...time..to ..time. And since we, AlhamduliLLAH is going bigger..and bigger economically...so they (military) too like democracy.

There is a time where Islamist, New Order loyalist, and Secular becomes friend...it is in the Megawati ruling (2002-2004)....

Considering my own country experience....Arab politics has to have third power that will neutralize the heat politics between Islamist and Secular power. And all power have to be united against any military politics. The scholar also can try to educate the people not to embrace any military help during any clash between civil political powers.

Of course a separation of religion and politics is best, but some countries are able to juggle both. You could argue the USA hasn't separated church from politics because religion is one of the top subjects in any election (abortion, gay marriage etc all religious based arguments)

Christianity & Judaism are more conducive to democracy than Islam, so that is a bigger obstacle.

But the problem with the Arabs is that apart from religion, they have clan/tribe/family loyalty. The notion of one man one vote doesn't really work in that regard.

I think the current turmoil in the Arab world could last a century.

Good to hear that you have a working democracy, Awami League party and their Indian sponsor killed Bangladesh democracy which we had since 1991, they are now trying to eliminate the opposition by jailing, torture and killings. With India's help and instruction, Awami League dictatorial rule essentially made Bangladesh into a vassal state of majority Hindu India, against the will of 85% Muslim Bangladeshi's.

Should I start posting news and videos of human rights violation in Saudi Arabia? I think I need atleast 1000 threads to post those news but I will not do it.

In Saudi Arabia you didn't even permit woman to drive cars (Is the prohibition lifted already) and they have threatened the Royal family to use the breast milk fatwa if they are not permitted to drive. There was a news of fatwa issued on woman forcing them to breast milk co-workers to work together in workplace. This is why I want Saudi Arabians to wage war against Saudi Royal family.

Democracy will happen in Arabia but it will take time. King Abdullah is a clean man but his family is such a shame for him.

We , without a doubt, do have many issues, yet at the same time, we never have been audacious enough to pick on others while we we didn't get our house on order, unlike you.

In theory, there are no laws ban women from driving, but in practice, we don't issue females' driving license.

Al-Obyikan's fatwa?

The " milk " fatwa was issued by a stupid scholar, he isn't a state official. Thus, his idiotic opinion is in no way related to the State.

Why would the Royals count on a non-official fatwa while ignoring an official one such as this:

Saudi Mufti Says Women Driving Not in Their Interest — Riyadh Bureau

If this shows something then it must reveal that you're nothing but a perpetuating pathological liar.

This is why I want Saudi Arabians to wage war against Saudi Royal family.

With all due respect, but don't you think you're thinking too much while ignoring what's taking place in your country

Your Gov't is a puppet, client state to India. First try to liberate your own country before starting to run your mouth.

They literally own your entire country. It is imperative that Bengals fight to remove these sellouts, and maybe try to allow your people to get an excess to YouTube :D

Democracy will happen in Arabia but it will take time. King Abdullah is a clean man but his family is such a shame for him.

I don't think there could be any greater shame than a morally ill society where prostitution is okay.

I am doing good, how about yourself?

I'm good thanks for asking.

Glad to see you back.

Youtube is not banned in BD.

You talk about prostitution? Why do Saudi Sheikhs take house maids from BD, Pak,India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and made them prostitute for themselves? Even due to excessive rape cases world's largest Muslim country Indonesia officially had discontinued sending female workers in Saudi Arabia. Should I show reference of how much domestic violence happen in Saudi Arabia by Royal Sheikhs?

This is another reason I want common Saudi Arabians to raise their voice against Monarchy and social immorality. :-)

Do you hold any evidence to pinpoint to such incident in which a " Sheikh " gave any unethical treatment such as prostitution to the nationals of the countries you named? Or do you happen to have anything in which you can approve that the state is okay with it?

Indonesia officially had discontinued sending female workers in Saudi Arabia

Your intelligence makes me LoL.

Indonesia's decision to suspend sending female maids has nothing to do with what you're saying. It came out when a female Indonesian national killed a citizen, and was sentenced to death.

There is no such thing as " Royal " Sheikhs

If a crime is committed, we hold the offender accountable as per individual, not by these Royal Sheikhs of yours

Aside, the figure won't accede the kind of prostitutions, taking place in your country.

This is another reason I want common Saudi Arabians to raise their voice against Monarchy and social immorality. :-)

Not until you liberate your country from these sellout baboons, eliminate the prostitution of women, and fight for your own dignity.

Toppling King in Hijaz means civil war. At the end the country will be taken over by Al Kaida type hardliners . Let the process take time. Democracy is contagious , already in Iraq, it will spread in the region sooner or later.
