Its great to know that your government signs peace deals with terrorists.

MILF says Moros are not Filipino, MNLF also says Moros are not Filipino, and BIFF which is fighting against the Philippines now definitely doesn't think Moros are Filipino, which Moro organization said they are Filipino?

MNLF=/=MILF=/=BIFF. And yet I've talk to moro that identified themselves as filipino. Do we also discount the things they said? And do these separtist groups represent a large percentage of the moro people themselves? And where in flying **** are the quotes that i've been asking for? especially for this
MNLF also says Moros are not Filipino

@Apothecary

The Spanish did not even refer to your people as Filipino. They only called Spanish people born in the Philippines as Filipinos, your people were called Indios. So when you say 300 years of intertwined culture and accepting the name, you should call yourself Indios since Spanish called you Indios for 300 years and not Filipino.

If i'm gonna rate your rambling from 1-10, yours would 12-13. THE TOPIC is about RENAMING the philippine NATION. And now your rambling about indios? Why the **** would we RENAME the PEOPLE by using a racist name?

Here's a hint, look at the bolded letters.

Archaemenid Empire weren't a brutal invaders. Bharat is our primary name.

Doesn't change the fact that they were invaders. For us even Arabs, Turks, Central Asians, Britishers were also not brutal invaders.

Do you even know the meaning of the word Sindhu. .

Sindhu means water but often in Sind we say the mother mighty great river.

What does I stands for.

Immigrants referred to Muslim families migrating towards their motherland Pakistan.

That was preserved by Indians. Pakistanis now call Sindh as Sind & Sindhu as Darya-e-Sind.

Pakistanis call it Sindhu, Sindh & commonly Sind. In Sindhi language we call it Sindhu more often then we call it Sindh/Sind.

The word Hindustan is native sanskrit term there is verse in Rig Veda the oldest Hindu religious book which goes like this

Himalyam Samarabhya
Yavadindusarovaram
Tam Deonirmitam Desham
Hindusthanam Prachakshate

Translation: "The country which starts from
Himalayas and the borders of which reach till the Indian Ocean (Indu Sarovaram), has been created by devas and its name is Hindusthan."

lol look at this poor soul. Dude wake up no indian army or media propaganda works internationally, World knows where the name came from:rofl:

BTW FYI I had one Hindu friend in Sind-Pakistan & he told me that the real/original name of india was only Bharat nothing else.

That belong to Uttar Pradesh. British first introduced Urdu in Punjab.

It belongs to Muslims of Subcontinent & was based on Persian with words from Persian, Arabic, Turkish, Sanskrit etc. Most development of it was done in Lahore-the 2nd biggest city of Pakistan.

Yesterday, some Pakistani told me Pakistanis are only similar to 3% Indians. Indian Punjabis don't speak Urdu, British introduced Urdu to Punjab province. How its similar and not similiar at the same time.

Doesn't change the fact that they were invaders.

Whole world respect Cyrus the Great, Indians have no issue with the name given by his Empire.

So whats wrong in that, Out of 1.3billion indians only 2-3% indians are similar to Pakistanis. If indian punjabis don't speak Urdu so what can we do about it? Lahoris speak Urdu as well as other Punjabis in Pakistan & so do other ethnicities. It seems like you are not comprehending something & laughing at it...in short you are laughing at your self.

Please don't post more OFFTOPICS or you'll force me to report Mods. Thanks.

Muslims of Pakistan too proudly name their kids Sikander. So, when you think Greeks were invaders, why so love for the name Sikander.

@KingMamba93 Pakistanis feel jealous that we retained the historical name India while there was nothing called Pakistan before 1947.

No Pakistani feels jealous that you want to call yourself Indian, by all means do so but we know what Nehru was trying to imply when he chose that over Hindustan which is why Jinnah was mad.

Jinnah was insisting on Hindustan for his two nation theory.

No because when Nehru chose India the connotation was that Pakistan was a break away state and Jinnah did not like that. Also Nehru figured Pakistan would collapse and return to the republic of India which is why he chose that name as well.

All came from Sindhu, the Sanskrit name for Indus river.

You mad bro? You just grasping at straws.

India has two names officially recognised in the constitution.

India and Bharat.

I know now. :)

Its a dead language in UP.. we probably have indians from UP... who cant even read it.. so much for ur bs.

Indian Muslims still speak the nicest Urdu.

Pakistan got separated from historical India, Bharat or Hindustan. Jinnah wanted India to switch to Hindustan because he wanted India to adhere as the land of Hindus. If you listen to his speech of 3rd June 1947 on All India Radio, he referred them with the names Pakistan and Hindustan in his English language speech.

Are you refering to hyderabad? they have the worst urdu ever.. hooraai.. jaarai etc.. even than its almost extint in those states... whiles its opposite in Pakistan... its screwing our regional native languages...
