Bro, the salaries are pretty well and the whole staff is well cared inside the TAF when it comes to NCO's and officers. But when we were talking to a few master sgts, they were always complaining about the salary of Petty Officers, you're right on that.

what? Regulars don't get any payment. But petty officers start with about 3,000. And Lieutenants start with about 3,800 if I'm not wrong. This isn't bad in Turkey's conditions if you consider a MSgt's (about 4,500) or a Colonel (5,000) 's salary.

The Turkish military is in a difficult position. It was the guardian of the secular credentials of Turkey.

I don't know man, state spends much for one regular, and gets nothing from him...

I did 6 months of service, fired G3 5 times, thats it, rest was guard duty and marching.

Regulars working in "lojman, kantin, orduevi" and this is supposed to be, "Vatan Borcu".

I can go on forever by giving examples but no need to, infact it is well known.

That is what I mean. They need at least 100-120 for descent life during military service.
