After the revolution, the Tunisian government began to consider the development of military to put this topic open discussion about the future of the Tunisian Armed Forces ( TUNISIAN ARMY SUPPLIERS ARE WEST EUROPE " FR , AUSTRIA , ITALY , UK some times , Germany" AND USA is Primary Supplier )
give me your propositions

This my proposition
1 land forces
renewing the combat uniforms to use the Universal combat uniform
Upgrade The Steyr A.U.G A2 to an advanced rifle that can adapt with all weather condition
and As A Wheeled Vehicle is the MRAP

It is better for Tunisia being a small nation to align itself with a force, like GCC for example in regards to Jordan and Morrocco, this way it will have more leeway to specialize in preferably the special forces section, this way it will guarantee protection and also supplement existing forces.

We tried the Steyr AUG in our southern conflict some time ago and it proved to be a faulty weapon system, with probelems in heating and melting of internal components during sustained firing. Better replace it with the G36 as we did.

yeah good idea but to me i prefer mutual defense treaties such as what we have with Algeria and we have with the United States
and about the Steyr we can upgrade it to be all weather adaptive weapon like that we will never need to train our soldier in new weapon system ( from bull pup action to normal firing system )
and we are 2nd in SF after Jordan

You have defence treaties with the US and others that should do it.
But if you insist,MILGEMs,MRTPs 15, 29 ,33 maybe U214 AIP and the future F100,TF2000 frigates for your navy.

10 Albatros-class fast attack craft ( and ask Germany to be UL production ) ( 6 all ready in active duty tunisian navy )
8 Type 214 submarine
4 Tarawa-class amphibious assault ship Tunisia can try ask USA for the 4 Decommissioned Ships after renewing them ( hard to get )

TAF should acquire F-16 B60 and moderate its navy. I would like to see the french FREEM serving in the mediterranean sea.
