Since there has been many debates, especially recently about shifting the political (not economical) capital from Tehran to another city, here we can discuss ups and downs of this decision, possible choices or candidate cities and the impact of this act on Iran, politically and economically.We should also consider the geographic location of the new capital and the fact that right now, Iran is under constant threat of war, so the location of capital is very important in any war scenario.

The major candidate cities as of now are: Isfahan, Tabriz, Qazvin, Shiraz.
There can be also other choices that can be discussed here.

what a pity , then how Tehranian can brag about their city afterwards?

The major candidate cities as of now are: Isfahan, Tabriz, Qazvin, Shiraz.

First thing first what is the difference btw these cities and current capital i.e Tehran? if you exclude Qazvin the rest of them are peppered with dens populations and industrial.
Besides by alluding to our history the political capital should be in the center of country meanwhile none of the above-mentioned cities except Isfahan and Qazvin enjoy such an advantage to some extent.

Why Does a probable capital city have to be chosen from metropolises?
