will it fall......will it rotate.........will it fall......will it rotate...........will it fall......will it rotate...........:D

U know this scene was like heartbrake for me... I was keenly following it, but they finished the film :'(

Although TDKR was an utterly disappointing climax on numerous counts, the Christopher Nolan trilogy will be remembered and cherished as the Star Wars/Terminator franchise of our generation. Here's hoping the next Batman offering is based on the Batman Beyond animation series......epicness personified!!!

Well, this is what Nolan had to say about the ending:

“I’ve been asked the question more times than I’ve ever been asked any other question about any other film I’ve made,” he says. “What’s funny to me is that people really do expect me to answer it.”

Actually it is said there might be an follow to the Batman series, which the hero will be Robin or James Blake character in Dark Knight Rises.
But Christopher Nolan will not be at the herm. He strictly said he wont be doing more than 3 parts, which are now legendary and Dark Knight was soul searching.

ha ha he is playing close to his chest..
Have u seen his "prestige" ? Its another one of my favourite suspense drama !!!

Yes, but I thought about it as more of an Art film rather than a pure commercial film. But didn't understood the ending, was hugh jackman's character able to make his copies everytime & kill them after each magic show???

yes, he killed his replica everytime after his show. Finally he uses the same trick to trap Christian Bale.
But the mystery ends the climax. Bale is an double role.
It was superbly shown.

The franchise could use a facelift by bringing some swag in. I think that the main reason behind ''The Avengers" becoming a phenomenal blockbuster is because it brought the fun back into superhero flicks. Which is why a change in the Batman narrative would be well appreciated with a younger version of the Dark Knight like in Batman Beyond.

For some reasons i hated avengers... I know the climax, as soon as i saw the villain.... I literally hated that...

Where's the option for POTC.

if u ask me Johny depp's character was such a awesome one :) First 2 parts were very good. Even 3 rd was ok. But the 4th part lost steam.
And the theme mucic was superb. hans zimmer is simply one of the best musicians.

Well, a little artistic license should be granted with the script when it comes to superhero flicks. You won't be able to enjoy them otherwise. The Nolan series is repetitive and predictable too but people choose to look beyond that.

Nope. What makes the Nolan script really superb is his unpredictability.
What would we have thought when Joker was caught first? What did we think about Inception? Or what about the unpredictability in Prestige?
I good film is a one, which keeps u on ur toes tthinking what happens next. And Nolan is a master in that.
Avengers was too predictive and Childish of u call me....

I wouldn't be too sure of that. Most of The Dark Knight' series have plenty of common themes playing in between them;

Every central antagonist(Ghul,The Joker, Bane/Miranda) in Nolan's interpretation is a person upholding 'higher beliefs' and has no materialistic interests. The core theme is to wage war for Gotham's ''soul''. This gives Nolan the artistic license to bring in darker themes as opposed to the usual criminals in superhero movies who fight for money or control.

The climax in every one of them involves the release of prisoners from Gotham's prison and the ensuing anarchy that follows which prevent the law enforcement agencies from interfering in the chaos.

In every part of the series ; Batman is in some form of agony(the murder of his parents, murder of his girlfriend, broken back) and the remainder of the film is spent showcasing how he rises against these unseeming odds.

The themes included in the Batman trilogy are recurrent but we choose to overlook them for the sake of it's fluidity.
