Last time Chinese executed the British National Akmal Shaikh who was drug smuggler even when British tried to put lot of diplomatic pressure to release him.

That British National was lucky it was such a high-profile case.

He was so lucky in fact, that he even got the British Prime Minister himself to come over and personally beg for his execution to be converted to life imprisonment.

Didn't change the outcome of course. The British Prime Minister at least got the body after it was over.

When one billion Indians could not even win a single Gold medal (in sports of endurance, strength, skill, etc.) in the recent Olympics, you kind of understand why they faint from being manhandled.
