What objective did Pakistan achieve? Even if several Indian jets were downed, which is doubtful, India achieved military and strategic goals.

1. Big retaliation in response to terror attack. This establishes precedence and next time it may be worse.

2. Held Pakistan accountable (no hiding behind ‘non-state’ actors).

3. Took nukes out of the equation, escalated/de-escalated at will.

4. Put Pakistan under pressure. Biden would have come very close to designating Pakistan state sponsor of terror (if not outright done it), along with the dilapidating sanctions that come with it.

Still no proof of PAF downing any jets apart from Social media and PAK ISPR. whereas destruction and blasts deep inside Pakistan in their airbases, ADS and mosques are all out in the open. Even NYT has confirmed which was initially apprehensive about stating it, in fact they used independent satellite images instead of relying on Pakistani or Indian satellites for confirmation. In fact the funniest part is no such attack on Udhampur was recorded as per their satellite images even though they presented the proof of it with a low resolution image in a briefing by PAK air chief.....
