What Are You Listening to Right Now - Round 2

Cash is one of my favourites of all time....it would take me too long to go into details of the best stuff he's done.

Beautiful, thanks for posting

Bro, you need to get your ears checked.
All modern Urdu singers from Pak have that same style of singing, crying and moaning no reason, trying to sound deep
It's unbearable at times

I only mostly just listen to Punjabi songs from Pak but even here unfortunately Indians one's are better than ours but crappy in terms of lyrical quality

Sheenai by Khumariyaan (Live Concert) I The Creatives Bhaag I Nairobi I Rabab music | Best pashto

Khumariyaan performs Sheenai live in Nairobi during the first show of their 2022 East African Tour. This song is a tribute to folk music, green-eyed people, and, the stepped lush valleys of Gilgit Baltistan.

I love folk music so much.

correct

is your chacha also in national skorti ? how'd you figure ? :omghaha:
No I am myself national skorti unkill.

People who are into metal / hard rock / alternative etc look down upon these songs as pansy, feminine, pusillanimous, lacking depth, meaning etc etc.

Yeah. I don't box myself as a fan of any particular category either. I like honesty in art. Be yourself, don't try to be someone else. Don't try to join a bandwagon.

:(
You are jealous of good looking boys

I'm a huge fan of what's called the 'Punk Ethos' .. DIY, but not a big fan of the genre itself, apart from the odd rare band/track or two. They went from guitar virtuosity, insane solos to... no solos and just being angry.. wtf.

Pop caters to the lowest common denominator of music fans, who are barely fans.. just a stupid catchy beat and retarded lyrics. Cant stand that shit, conversely, also not huge into making a show of "oh I'm into so and so style of music culture, therefore I must dress, look, act a certain way" .. poseurs

Metal was originally all about anti poseur, organic, wild stuff with no rules but became what they hated with the 80s glam stuff lol.. then came thrash, kinda like an insurgency/mutiny within the ranks.

Have you seen Penelope Spheeris' "the decline of western civilization" dekho jab time mile:

80's glam metal parody band "Steel Panther" (insane musicians but)

here's Satchel, this guy is a performance artist if there ever was one
