What's the point of hijab if all you want to do is invite people's attention to yourself?

C'mon Jatt.
He is a human too and can make mistakes. He must have thought of something, that cant clear it. Btw, thanks both. The thread is ruined of its beauty

hey its fine. I didnt want to sound rude yar. just that he made a point whihc I couldnt understand, so was asking if he could explain. anyways am off for the moment.

Exactly. And the fashionable hijab of whose pics you're posting defeats this very purpose. Don't you think so?

Yes. These could be models. But in real life, i have never seen girls wearing hijab for attention. It is more simple and decent. Much more like the second pic. I posted the pics, because i feel these girls are more beautiful thank Angelina Jolie/ Aish Rai/ Katrina kaif and all, who dance and act naked for the sake of money that they get!

What nonsense is this?

I was holding back but such material really tests my patience.

In western nations, many girls who wear hijab also try and look 'hot' with their tight jeans and tops.

Similarly I have known many Burqa clad women whose character is very objectionable and so are their actions.

Upar se hidden, undar sab chalta hai.

Sorry. I liked it so thought to upload it here.
I agree, you have the right to wear what ever you want to. But should be in limits in public.

a. You and I have no right to comment upon someone's acts. What they do is of their own choosing and they have all the right to do it. Moreover, I don't think what they do is 'bad' per se. It would be more appropriate to call it 'different' than 'bad'.

b. What is the point of this thread if not to show the fashionable side of hijab?

Alright then YOU post some picz with Hijab and fashion both. The ones i posted, are fashion from my side.

Analyzing the psyche of a hijabi woman like this really is weird, given that men are no where near analyzing the psyche of any woman, anyway.

What I don't get is why is the word "fashion" given almost always a sexual rep. There's a world of a difference between looking good, and looking seductive. The idea behind the hijab is not to contribute in any sort of inadvertant seduction of the opposite sex. The opposite of appealing is not unappealing. If that was the idea, all Muslim woman would roam around with those gimmick nose and ears, you know the ones that come with the glasses?

The point at which good looking becomes seductive - well thats a judgment call for the woman, hijabi or not, to make on her own. Free will people, don't sneak in peer pressure, either way.
